"Abandoned kits that are right here, you mouse-brained fool!"

"I know!" Rainstorm snapped. "I can see! I can hear!" she said. "I'm not some blind kit!" She bit back the rest, the scent of Windclan strong in her nose now that the kits were nearer. SHe stared angrily at Silverclaw as she walked towards the kkts, her pawsteps light as her amber eyes fell on them.

Silverclaw mumbled softly to herself but trotted after her sister towards the kits. "Either some banned WindClan cat dumped 'em or there half-clan cats who got dumped for the safty of themselves."

Rainstorm looked at the kits curiously. "Where should we take them?" she asked.

Silverclaw looked down at the 5 kits in front of her. "Obviously not WindClan or ThunderClan." she mumbled.

"We can't keep them here, and Riverclan is out of the question," she said.

"Very funny." Silverclaw sneered. "What do you expect me to do? Walk into my clan in the middle of the night and say 'Oh yeah I was just visiting my sister form an enemy-clan and I found some kittens from Windclan and we need to take them in!' Well I can't do that. What would Leafstar say?"

"How am I supposed to know?" Rainstorm asked. "And do you expect me to do the smae thing? Take them all, bring them to Riverclan, and say those same words?!" she asked.

"We each take two."

"There's 5 though...what re we gonna do? Split it in half?" she asked.

"Its to weak. It'll never survive."

Rainstorm knew she was right, but leave a kit outside with no help at all? "But.." she said, struggling for a reason to take it. "I'll take it with me. Maybe it'll atleast have a chance then," she said.

"And what are we going to say when we walk into our camps?

"I don't know! I'll just wing it," Rainstorm said.
