Cole ran through the woods not wanting to be a leader. He couldn't handle it with out May.

Meanwhile about ten miles to the east May was slowly trudging through deep snow. There was a bad gash in her right shoulder coused by a moose antler. She kept moving until she found a small cave. It wasen't much warmer inside than it was outside but it provided shelter from the wind. She thought sadly of Cole and how much he wold miss her when she was gone, she wimpered She didden't want to die, not yet, not when there was so many people who needed her. She then laied down and went to sleep.

Thanks to the wind Cole got her sent. He began to track her. He found her in a cave. He slowly walked up to her, hopping she'd know who he was.

Jay watched as Cole ran to the mountains. He turned to the others. "At least now he can find some peace. He can find May and be happy. If he wants to come back, he will." he said simply, then walked over to the lake again. He looked at Midnight, and tried to comfort her. He then walked to Rita and sat by her side.

Cole closed his eyes knowing he would never see his mate again.
