Marcus nodded to chase and got up. he shook off and followed his family. "I've never had deer before dad. what does it taste like?" he followed faster so he wouldn't fall behind.

ooc- Replying! And Hunter doesnt get on till 6 or so, so you might have to wait a while.

Erin was practically bouncing with excitement. "yeah, what does it tast like?" she asked curiously, echoing her brother.

Crystal licked the top of both their heads, still filled with unbeleivable joy. "You'll find out soon," she said.

Chase followed his father, mother, and brothers and sisters. He barked excitedly and bounded around from side to side. "Yeah does meat taste good? Does it, does it, does it?" he asked, speaking really quickly. His words were spoken so fast, you could barely hear what they were.

Lu followed the rest, staying quiet. He still couldn't believe what he did to his sister, but at least she had forgiven him. He sighed slowly, relieving himself of the guilt. He then tried to smile, and though about how meat tasted.

Marcus bounced back beside Lu "What's up?" he asked hoping Lu wouldn't mind him asking. he shook his fur and waited for a answer. he then put his nose to the air and tried to sense deer like his father did earlier.

"Calm down Chase, we can barely hear you," Crystal said, licking him. "It tastes wonderful, you'll get to see for yourself whether you like it or not really soon, just wait a bit," she said, scenting the air.

Erin copied her mom, sticking her nose in the air and flaring her nostrils, trying to catch a scent, a scent that meant prey, one that she hadn't smelled before. Which could mean alot of things though, she was still a pup. "Hey, mom, what' sthat smell?" Erin asked curiously, gagging slightly. A sharp putrid odor cut through the air.

"THat's a skunk, don't get to close to one if you ever see or smell one again. They spray you, making you stink like them." Crystal said, recalling some chilhood memories.

Dark hushed down and crouched. "Hush pups. I'll go in, Kill one you guys can kill it why me and your mother hold it down.. Alright?" he confermed before making his move. he wached as a Buck Brushed it's horns on a tree across the small medow, a weak Elderly doe Layed on the ground she was begining to get up, it flared it's nostrils as it Slowly closed it's as it got up and Stood alone.

Chase laughed as Crystal licked him and told him he should decide wether he liked it or not. He then became silent as Dark hushed them. "A deer!" he whispered.

Lu turned to Marcus, still trying to smile. "Nothing much, just trying to think of why I tried to bite Erin. That's all. I hope the deer tastes good." he also went silent as he heard Dark's voice hush them. He tried to look around to spot a deer. He spotted one!

Erin watched, her eyes big and wide with excitement.

Crystal moved in a bit closer, following Dark, shadowing him. SHe motioned for her pups to stay back, they would distur b the deer. Her ears pricked, her strong muscles tensing as she waited to pin it.

"Alright!" he whispered. he crouched out of the bush, a young female deer spoted him, he darted at the elderly Deer, he Leapt at it's neck he swung around it Digging his nails into it's sides as he hung upside down, he bit hard. "Crystal!" he yelled threw the deers thick coat.

Crystal was there in a flash, pulling the deer down, amid the struggling. She dug her teeth and claws into it's ksin, the deer wildly strugglung. She bit it's neck, ending the hunt. She got up, panting a bit.

Erin ran over, amazed at the deer and her parents. "That was awesome!" she crowed, her eyes still big. "CAn I eat some now?" she asked, returning her gaze to the deer.

Dark laughed, "Sure if your not scared! he seen a stivk under the deers head. "Get closer!" he said As he held his paw over the stick.

Claire jumped out. "WOAH!" she screamed. "That was amazing!"

"Cool!" Marcus said in awe. He sniffed the deer and scrambled away from it. "It stinks!" he said and scrunched up his face. It might taste good though he thought.

Erin wrinkled her nose as Marcus voiced that statement. "Yeah, it does. Why?" she asked curiously, cocking her head slightly.

Crystal sniffed the deer. "It was sick and old, but it's meat is still good," she said, ripping a piece off and tearing into it.
