Josh sighed and said "Then what do you want?"

"I want a normal life, where my best friend isn't my supposed soul mate! Where we can just be friends, nothing more. Where I can be comfortable!"

Josh smiled and said "If you want me to disappear then I will. It will be like I never existed in the first place."

"You're not going to die. You're going to leave. We'll buy those da** web cams to chat. But no more soul mate stuff." Derreck grumbled.

Josh sighed and said "Even if I don't say anything. You will still know. And it will always be in my head, Derreck, and I will feel like I was betrayed. I will leave and make it look like I never existed."

"If you kill yourself, I'll kill myself. I don't want you to die, but I don't want this."

"I won't kill myself but I will erase everything that reminds you of me. So, you can forget about me, Derreck. I think that's best if you don't want me."

"I wasn't saying that, dammit! I was saying that we could keep in touch, but I don't want this life."

"Why?"

"Do you see anything wrong with the few things you've said before?" Derreck asked. "I don't want you out of my life completely, but I also don't want it this way.

Josh smiled sadly and nodded. He said "Yes. I the mate thing sounds wrong but it is the truth. A werewolf can't accidently imprint on someone. And what way?"

"With you being all loving in an ackward way. I don't want that."

"Oh. Then let me bite you so you can turn into a werewolf too. So, you can imprint on me too. And then you will see that we are soul mates. Please, Derreck. Let me bite you. If you are my friend then you will let me bite you."

"NO! Then I'm not your friend. Besides, I thought that rule only applied to vampires."

Josh looked hurt and said " It works for werewolves too. I save your life and this is the thanks I get. Thanks for saving my life. Now leave me alone. This is just perfect. Why won't you let me bite you, Derreck."
