As Shy communicated, she drove. She finally pulled the car to a stop after a few hours. 'We need food and a place to sleep." she said to jarret.

OOC: Can you tell Stardust how the other one died? Just so I have something to work with?

"True, though I wouldn't stay in a motel." said Jarret. "Easier to track us." he said. "I say we just park the car under and freeway and sleep with the doors locked."

Stardust kept listening to her 'owner's' story.

ooc: ok, i just needed to think.

Shay nooded and turned of the road, bouncing as they hit bumps. She parked and stopped the engine under a tree with overhanging branches that would hide them a little bit atleast. She layed back in her seat and grabbed the trtail mix and ate, resuming her conversation at the same time. Well, she said, hesitating a bit,she got sick one day, really sick, her stomach fliiped or something. They thought she would be okay, but a week later she died. She swallowed around the lump in herthroat and shifted to a better position.

Stardust nuzzled her. I'm very sorry about your loss. she said. But I'm sure she loved you as much as you loved her. she said. You were a good owner, I'm sure she's looking down from whatever humans call the afterlife at you and smiling. she said. Humans do believe in an afterlife, right?

Some. Shay closed her eyes and drifted off into sleep.

Stardust drifted off into sleep.

OOC: Want to have them talk in their dreams again or just fast forward?

Windancer · **Posted:** Sat Aug 22, 2009 3:42 pm

Early next morning, Stardust set on the roof, looking into space, her eyes glowing.

Windancer · **Posted:** Mon Aug 24, 2009 12:50 pm

Shay sat up blearily. "Stardust?" she asked, her voice thick with sleep. She blinked a few times and streched, accidently hitting Jarret.

Godzillawolf · **Posted:** Mon Aug 24, 2009 12:53 pm

Up here. said Stardust.

Jarret groaned. "What is it?"

Windancer · **Posted:** Mon Aug 24, 2009 12:55 pm

"Nothing." she said. She opened the door and looked up. She climed on the roof and sat next to her, stroking her.

Stardust smiled. I was telling the galatic council what had been done to my planet, they're investagating it but they're pretty sure that they'll bring the guy to justice. she said. They're letting me stay here in...witness protection. she said. They asked me if you'd mind being deputized to protect me until my world can be repaired.

Windancer · **Posted:** Mon Aug 24, 2009 1:06 pm

"i didnt know you could do that." she murmured. "And sure." she grinned. "Im glad you can stay."

Godzillawolf · **Posted:** Mon Aug 24, 2009 1:12 pm

Just needed to get far enough away from Judas, he's been chasing me non-stop since I found out about the species that did this to my planet. said Stardust. Hold on. she said, her eyes glowed as she told the council about her decision. Ok, they said they'll help you however they can.

A ship flew over head a man in a black suit was teleported down, he was really an alien in disguise. He came up to Shay. "Are you the one taking care of the young alien?" he asked, emotionlessly.
