Leara look around the wolves. Her heart was thumping, she din't like the smell of blood. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked kindly.

Hayumi stretched out her wings as she stood up "I'm fine, rest is all I need." She felt pain shoot through her whole body, she laid back down and laughed "Okay, maybe I need some herbs, I could get them myself but..." She felt shame of herself for showing weakness.

Leara smiled. "It's fine, I'll go get them... but what do they look like?" Leara asked kindly, Her eyes shining.

Hayumi smiled, thankful."They are on a bush with pointy leaves, the color of the berries are purple, get the berries and one leaf, only one." She made herself clear that only one was to be gathered.It was a old ledgend in her pack that if you picked more than one doom would fall over your pack and yourself and all would be lost.Her bright green eyes scanned around and she caught a slight glimpse of his coat but turned her derection back to the female.

"OK, I'll see what I can find" Leara said gently, turning and looking into the forest. "And don't worry I'll be back" Leara then walked off into the forest. When she walked into the forest everything suddenly turned dark. She sniffed the ground gently lifting the earth. She raised her muzzle and looked around in the forest. There was no sign of life anywhere, so she walked on. She carried her head lowly and still sniffing as she went. She looked everywhere, but there was nothing to be found. Her heart was thumping. There was a strange smell in the air. She lifted her ears and held her head high, but there was nothing to be seen. Then she saw a bird flap her wings proudly and land on a branch. It didn't seem to care about Leara being below her at all. But there was something weirdly strange about this bird. Leara didn't know what it was. She turned her head and walked away, but the bird followed her. Leara growled in disgust. "Whats wrong with this animal?!" she said to herself. She started snaping at the air warning the bird to run. But she didn't. Instend she came even closer. But something caught Leara's eye. The bird was holding a berry from the bush Hayumi was telling her about. As Leara got closer the bird flew away, but this time Leara followed. They ran through the forest and after awhlie they saw Leara saw a bush coved with ripe berrys and pointy leaves. "That's it! The bush!" Leara cried. "Um, thanks, bird!" Leara said. The bird nodded and flew away. Leara then asked her self, "Why am I talking to a bird?" Then she walked over and picked one leaf and a group of berries. She had the remedy.

Freya smiled as she watched Leara offer help and head off. At least she knew that one wolf would be able to fit in. She glanced to looked at Hayumi and gave her a positive gaze. "I hope you get well soon Hayumi. Our healer is nearby in case you need anything."

Xinal head impacted against a rock. "Ow..." He moaned as he squinted his eyes against the pain. "I must watch where I'm going." Xinal shook his pelt so that any stray pebbles and dust that may have caught itself there can be removed. Eventually he recognized the presence of other wolves around him. When he glanced around he was in the midst of a small group: some of the Groundwolves from the Beta and Omega group. The other wolves looked at him as if her were crazy. Bewildered he asked, "What's bugging everyone?" A few wolves glanced at each other mirroring everyone's bewilderment. "Uh... watch your step?"

"Uh... right." One of them barked softly. "We'll follow what you said. We're dispersing for now."

Xinal found himself alone as all the other wolves left. "That was... strange." He shrugged it off and made his way back to Hayumi. I wonder if she'd be thirsty. He veered of course as he found some moss and decided to drop by a stream. Holding the moss in his jaws, he passed by the bush that was a few tail lengths from the stream. He greeted the wolf that was in the area and continued to the flowing water. Dipping in his whole maw to ensure the whole moss would absorb water, he thought of what to say to Hayumi. He knew something happened, maybe he should apologize again.

Leara was still confused. Why would a bird help her? Anyway she got the herb and that was all she needed. her head turned and she made her way out of the forest. She approched the others. "I'm back, and I think this is the plant you needed" she asked as she lay the herbs in front of Hayumi.

Hayumi made a fake diva fit "No this is all wrong!I need spring water please!" She laughed and giggled "I'm just kiddin' you." Smiling, she took the leaf and the berries and ate them.Nika stood up and limped heavily into the woods, butt not to far, soon she returned with some cobwebs.She kneaded them into her wounds to help the bleeding and to stop infections.Sitting back down she smiled at the other female "Thanks, I hope I get better soon to." She looked around the clearing for the familiar pelt but couldn't find it.

"Your welcome, it was a pleasure" Leara decided to keep the story of the raven helping her to herself for the moment. She looked around wondering what to do next. She started sniffing the ground. She looked at Freya. Suddenly she said something that would change her life. "Can I join your pack?"

Freya was already preparing to make her rounds around the camp just before her attention was called. Her ears swivelled to face the newcomer while she took the time to turn her head to face her direction. As the question was asked, Freya already started to imagine the role or position to be filled.

"Very well." She barked, "Welcome to the pack." She turned to gesture at Hayumi, "You may ask her of recent happenings since you two seem to get along well enough. Although you could also ask another wolf who has been here longer to fill you in with the bigger picture."

She set one paw to the side meaning to leave before she caught attention to another presence. She gave a nod, "Glad to see you up and about Xinal. Don't forget dawn patrol." And without further ado she left to check on the other wolves.

Xinal had made his way with the moss towards Hayumi. To his surprise Freya was there although ready to leave. He nodded his respectful greeting to the alpha but in his eyes something glimmered, something cold and alien somewhat. When his head raised however it disappeared.

He glanced at Hayumi with sad apologetic eyes. He cautiously walked close enough to her to place the moss in an easy to reach location. "I figured you might be thirsty." He whined softly.

Hayumi looked up at him and sighed, her eyes glittered with pain as his voice filled her ears.She nodded and took the moss."Thanks." Was all she could manage to say, she was terrified what else might come out of her lips and how it would sound if she did talk anymore around him.

Xinal stood there uneasily after letting the other wolf get the water. He breathed in deeply before attempting to say a bunch of things but only, "Alright." came out. He sat down a few pawsteps away from Hayumi to rest. He slowly lowered his aching body on the grass. He noticed the presence of another wolf and turned to look at her. She seemed to be another new wolf.

"Hello there." Greeting someone was a simple thing to do. Although it didn't relive the stress that burned his chest from the curiosity of why Hayumi was acting so strangely.

Freya made an attempt to search for Daiku. She wanted to clarify a few things with him before she rested for the night. Frustratingly she was having a hard time. "Arg! Where is he?"

Hayumi sighed, her brain filled with thoughts.'He doesn't know what he has done Hayumi!He is innocent, no friendship should go to waste.' Her consious told her over and over, and she didn't want to lose him as friend so she shakily stood up and looked over towards him."Sorry.." She whispered very faintly as she laid down next to him like she would've done before she saw him looking at Freya.

Leara smiled at Freya. She swished her tail exitedly. "Thanks" she said, suddenly feeling a bit confused about what to do. She then turned her gaze to Hayumi. "So, can you tell me a bit about whats been happening around here?" Leara asked as she lay down onto the soft grass.

Hayumi giggled slightly, her bright eyes a little brighter than before."I just joined the pack to, not to long ago." A smile snuck onto her face "And this is Xinal, him and I are friends, I think you'll get along with him to." She felt her heart tighten up inside, she wanted to cry as her lips formed his name but resisted.
