Tiga was satified with this anwser but now curious as to why her mother lied. "Why did you lie the first time?" she asked, serious.
Balto was pacing himself, staying close to Steele but not wasting energy. He suddenly burst ahead at the last minute and got there first. "Nice job Steele, you almost beat me."

Tiga's eyes lit up when she saw the picture of the puppies the night they were born. "There we are!" she said, looking excited. "Which ones me?" she asked, not reconizing the tiny verson of herself.
"Yeah, two I think." said Balto. "Our dad told us." he said.
