The man dropped the pole in an effort to capture the others, but Echo kept the busy. He yelled and sweared, but put Echo in the truck and went on. The others made a break for it...but Sabora followed.

She followed the truck, stoping every now-and-then to catch her breath, but if she lost the truck, she would find Echo's sent. When the truck stoped at a house, she saw a black and brown dog run up to Echo.
"Your back!" Carmen cried. "Yes, it was so awefull wih you gone!" Echo whined, nuzzling Carmen and wagging his tail very fast.

They pranced around. Sabora hid under the truck. "No...this wont do...I have to get rid of her." Sabora growled to herself. The truck started backing up, so she ran and hid behind the tree and bushes in there yard. "I was soooo lonley! Thank God you back!" Carmen smiled. "lets go inside, it gets kind of cold at night, remeber?" Carmen teased. Echo laughted and the two went inside. Sabora sneeked over to the window. "So...the wolf....what was she like?" Carmen asked. "Eck, stubborn, greedy, smart---, awful, but I don't think she means to be that way.." Echo started.

"Why say that?" Carmen asked. "She lived with her sisters, and mabey her mom. NO boys, so when I left they all got so sad, so I let them go." He said. That was very thoughtfull of you!" Carmen smiled. Sabora sliped ans yelled. "What was that?" Echo said.

"ECHO! I'm worried!" Carmen barked. "I'll check it out." He said. He went outside. In a flur of fur, a wolf rushed by him. He fell over backwards and ran inside. "What was it?" Carmen said, wide eyed. "I dunno....mabey a dog or somthing digging into the trash cans outside. He said. Sabora was outside in a tool shed in their backyard. She was panting and found some water she licked up. She curled up and tryed to sleep. Suddenly the door rammed open. It was thuer owner. "Oh, a dog!" She smiled. She knew that Sabora might fight for dominace with Carmen, so she tied her up in the shed and gave her food and water.

"Wait, your that wolf from the zoo!" She gasped. She ran inside. "I must call the zoo! And tell them their wolf if gone!" She said. "Sabora!" Echo shouted. He ran out, and found her. "Hello Echo!" Sabora winked. "Stop! I have come only to tell you that my human is calling the zoo to come and get you! Run while you can!" He said. Carmen walked up.

"Who is this?" She smiled. "Sabora, the wolf from the zoo." Echo growled. "Oh, hello." Carmen smiled. "Beat it, witch!" Sabora growled. Echo pinned her down. "DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO MY MATE LIKE THAT!" Echo roared."Okay!okay!Sorry!" She lied.

"Echo, let me talk to her." Carme said. "Whah? She? Fine." Echo said and walked inside. Sabora turned away. "Hey, Im sorry about you not every meeting any uys in your life. But-" Carmen said. "But Echo isn't the kind of dog to cheat on somone. So you might as well stop." Carmen warned. "Sorry." Sabora said, sadly. "But! I think I can get you a guy." Carmen winked. "Who?" Sabora asked, geting to her feet. "Well, I only tellyou this, he's Echo brother, but they don't look to much alike, but they both have a white under-caot." Carmen explained.

"Well....I guess I could look." Sabora sighed. She followed her out to a stream. "Kavaki?" She barked. A black wolf looked up. "Hi!" He smiled. He Jumped into the river and came out on the other side with a fish in his mouth. "So...What do ya need?" Kavaki asked. Sabora blushed and looked at Carmen. "Uhm... Will you teach us how to fish. You see, Sabora here, just broke out of a zoo and dosn't know how to hunt." Carmen smiled. "Um, well it took me a while to get this good, but I can try." He smiled.

He walked to the bank of the river. "First, you, duh, wait for somefish. Wich we ave here." He said pointing at a fish. "Then, you wait for one or two to get close enough to catch it." He whiperd, as one swam closer. "And last, but least, you strike!" He said, as he swiped his paw on the fish, stunning it. "And now you go in for the kill." He said, grabbing the fish in his mouth.

"Hmmmm Now I'll try." Sabora smiled. Suddenly, a splash of scales hit the water. She got ready to strike, when she slipped and started to fall in. She closed her eyes tightly, waiting to hit the water, but somthing grabbed her in between her shoulder blades. "Close one." Kavaki barked. Sabora blushed. "So, your Echo's brother, correct?" Sabora asked. "Yeah, It was Bruno, Nolie, Me, Youkon, Rozland, then Echo." Kavaki smiled. "In the first litter."He smiled.

"How many siblings do you have?" She asked. "Too many for me to think of." Kavaki chuckled. "Same here."Sabora started. "I have, at least, fifteen to twenty siblings. I think, I don't remember my brothers.". "Did, you ever see them?" He asked. "Eh, probably, but I couldn't remember if my life depended on it." She said, laughing a little.

"Fifteen? Twenty? Realy? Why?" Kavaki asked. "Oh...I dunno...I think to sell them." Sabora sighed. "Oh, I see... that why you escaped? You diddn't want to be sold?" Kavaki asked. "No, I was relesed by youu- I mean I diddn't want my pups to be sold." Sabora lied. "OOhhhhh... you have a mate? Who is he?" Kavaki asked. Not wanting to loose Kavaki, she said." Oh, he was cute, but, cheated on me, you see." Sabora lied. "Oh, I get it." Kavaki said.

Then, she remembered. Oh no, I, I may be pregnat, with his brothers pups! She thought.

Then she was struck by an idea. But they look so much alike..... maybe he wont notice....but how can I get him to think there his pups? Sabora thought. "Somthing wrong?" Kavaki asked. "Oh...I just... don't have anywhere to stay tonight." Sabora sighed. "Hmm... come with me." He smiled. "I still kinda live with my mom and dad because I don't have a mate and stuff..." Kavaki said ashamed. "So did I, well... my mom." She laughed. He lead her throught a junk yard, and a small den in the back of it. A small black and white wolf came out. "Hello Kavaki, and who might this be?" Zasha smiled. " Sabora...I was wondering if she could stay here tonight?" Kavaki asked. "Oh sure." Zasha smiled. "Your dad's out hunting, so he'll be back later, he took Youkon, Bruno, Cody, Zelda, and a few others." Zasha smiled.

When they got inside, Sabora noticed the den wasn't as small as she thought it was. There were many wolves inside. "Woah.... these are all your family?" Sabora asked. "Yeah." He smiled. Suddenly a yellow and white wolf with two colored eyes popped in. "Dinner!" He called. They rushed outside to a large dead caribou. Then a large dark yellowish colored wolf with a scar stepped forward. "Hi dad." Kavaki smiled. Sabora was shocked at the apperance of the wolf.
