Ooc: Name it, I might be able to remember it...

Flash sat up and and nuzzled Nica. Her brown and black coat was the only thing that he could remember Athina by. He was glad to have her.

OOC: Lean on Me.

"Even after the last rabid dog is dead, we'll need to stay here for awhile." said Balto. "Humans are just looking for an excuse to kill me and they might say I'm rabid just to shoot me and they might just not risk a rabid dog being on the loose and kill any dog an owner hasn't gotten inside." he said and nuzzled Nica. "Are you going to be ok?" he asked.

Balto nuzzled the kitten. "Nica...my mom, when I knew her, said that if a mother dies with a kid left to raise, they don't pass on, they stay and watch over that child even if we can't see them." he said. "My mom is always watching over me and your mom will always be watching over you and Rico was young and is ensured to pass on to heaven." he said.

OOC: can I play Aniu for a couple posts?"

"Really?" Nica asked. She curled up and closed her eyes. She wasn't going to sleep, she was just resting.

Ooc: Sure!

Balto nodded. "Yes, you're mother is probably talking to mine right now." he said.

Aniu stood on the deck above them, they couldn't detect her in anyway, she was in the spirit world and they were in the mortal one but she could transcend it under certain circumstances, this wasn't one. "You're right my son." she said. She howled. An angel wolf took the Athina's soul from her body and another one took Rico's. They landed on the deck with Aniu. "Hello." she said to them in a gental voice.

"I am Aniu, Balto's mother." said Aniu. "I was killed while I was raising him, so I have unfinished buisness on earth with him." she said. "I've also been appointed a chief spirit, I am in charge of teaching all wolves and new spirit guides, Athina, you, unforcently, are dead, you and Rico. I'm sorry." she said. "Even so, you are not finished on earth, Nica needs you. You will become her spirit guide and under certain events, you can go into the mortal world, we're in the spirit world, invisable, intenagable, and undetectable." she said. She looked at Rico. "You have a choice young one. You can ether remain with your mother in the spirit world, or go onto to heaven and wait for your family there." she said, a piler of light appearing behind her. "If you wish to go to heaven, step into the piler of light behind me."

OOC: Actuelly, could Aniu be a perminent character?

Ooc: Ok, but Athina wont be

Athina looked down at Rico. "Do you want to stay here, or go to Heaven and meet your grandparents, some of dad's friends..." Athina asked him.

Rico looked at the light behind Aniu. How he longed to go. "I will go, but mama, don't stay here too long." He said. He slowley walked around Aniu and dissapeared into the light.

"I feel, as if the wind is telling me that momma is here, watching me..." Nica said as she closed her eyes to take in the feel of the wind.

OOC: Alright, that makes sense considering Aniu is appointing her to Nica, she'd only appear when you want and if you want. But Aniu still has some stuff to teach Athina alright?

"Do not worry Athina. As spirits, we cannot pass on until those under our guardianship have as well but Rico will not be lonely or sad, there is none of that in Heaven." said Aniu. She reared her head back and howled, snow swirled around Athina for a few seconds before vanishing. "You now have the spirit powers and the wisdom of one." she said. "As a chief spirit, I can take on the form of many spirit guides. I can give you a tangagable form you can change into, her actuel spirit guide. You would be something that is diffrent from your current self and you can't tell her you're her spirit guide and mother, just guide her. Mine for Balto is a Raven but I can become many others. Do you have a prefrence or can I choose one for you? The only thing is, you can't be a wolf, dog, or cat."
