Everett surprisingly didn't try to tear into Shane, but instead Everett's main goal was to keep him down and make him unable to chase after Rochelle.

Shane squirmed, and happily squeezed out from Under Everett, considering he was only a dog. He bolted, but was still slow, something had ripped a muscle in his leg so he limped.

Everett chased after him. Not far off, the younger wolf and Rochelle were tussling on the ground, neither were real good fighters and so they were an even match fr one another.

Shane had gotten to the younger canines quickly, and rammed into the male, throwing him off Rochelle.

"Shane look out!" Rochelle barked in surprise as Everett tackled Shane and threw him to the ground, holding his heavy paws on Shane's chest. Rochelle growled and crouched to jump at Everett.
"I wouldn't do that.." Everett said, putting his claws close to Shane's throat. "Wouldn't want me to slip now would you?"
Rochelle lowered her ears, not wanting to take a chance of Everett hurting Shane.
"If you come with us..We won't hurt him." Everett said to Rochelle, who glared up at him. "We know you don't want him to get hurt.."

Shane yelped and squirmed, and froze when Everett placed a paw on his throat. He growled, and glared evilly at The younger male.
"Rochelle...I'll be fine...." Shane reassured her, though he also needed to reassure himself.
He continued to wiggle and squirm so get free, clawing at the older male pinning him.
"Why do you need her..?" Shane questioned angrily.

"My own reasons," Everett bared his teeth and turned to look at Rochelle.

Shane frowned at the thought of all the horrible things Everett and the younger wolf could do to Rochelle.
"Over my. Dead. Body." He snarled, grabbing Everett's chest fur in his teeth and yanking down harshly. He snapped his head sideways, causing Everett to roll off of him, and Shane ran over to shove the young wolf to the ground. He snapped onto the young male's neck and threw him into a tree.

The young wolf yelped loudly, scrambling to get up but failing because of his now injured leg.
Everett growled as Shane sent him rolling to the side, a slight bleeding gash on his chest.

Shane ignored Everett and took one last yank on the younger wolf's leg before scramblnig over to Rochelle. He bumoped her lightly, giving her the 'go' again.

Everett jumped to his feet, shouting curses, scolding the younger wolf. Once Rochelle was given the cue, she took off again.

Shane ran a bit slowler than Rochelle, making sure that she could get to the pack before he did. He ran in the back so that if Everett or the misterious young wolf were to follow them, he would attack. Was that Everett's kid...? Shane wondered, picking up the pack's scent. He picked up his pace a bit, bumped Rochelle again to tell her to speed up as well.

Rochelle sped up on Shane's nudge and dashed into the pack's view. It seemed the only one still persueing them was the young wolf who ran slowly because of his injured leg.

Once they entered the clearing, and Kurt ran over to Rochelle, Shane burst back into the woods. He snarled loudly and tackled the young wolf.
"I'm going to teach you a lesson pup. When you love someone, you will kill for them." He spat, snapping onto the pup's neck.

"Dad! Its-" Rochelle barked, then paused, looking back. "Where's Shane?!"
The pup yelp in pure terror and tried again and again to get away. The one moment he managed to pull away from Shane, he fell flat on his face because of his injured leg. There was a high pitched bark and a female, the same age as the male, jumped out of the brush over to the young male.
