"Thanks Reed!" Rochelle smiled politely and bounded off in Shane's direction.

"No problem!" He woofed after her, before sighing. "It's for your own good Shane..." He murmured to himself.
Shane padded slowly along the river bank, watching the water flow swiftly.

"Shane!" Rochelle barked as she caught sight of Shane along the stream.

Shane turned to see Rochelle bounding towards him. He made a mental note to talk to Reed later. He forced a smile, though his frame was stiff as a bolt.

"Hi," she greeted with a bright smile. "It took me a bit to find you." She chuckled. "Playin hide and seek?"

Shane's heart tinged with guilt, and he knew he couldn't stay mad at Rochelle. He looked at the ground, attempting to hide his blushing face. "Um, sure?" He replied, swishing his large tail.

Shane snapped his head up, his expression a mixture of guilt and shock.
"What? Yeah, no, im fine." He lied.

Rochelle flopped her ears back.

"Oh you know me so well, huh?" Shane scoffed, turning to watch the water before he added, "Im fine."

Rochelle looked down, shuffling her paws slightly.
"Oh...okay.." she said, though she felt he was upset with her. "Well..i just wanted to say hey.." she said, turning and beginning to pad off. "I'll..see you..later i guess."

"Rochelle!" He barked before she dissappeared.

Rochelle paused and turned to look at him, not making a move to turn back toward him, for fear she would simply be bothering him.

Rochelle slowly turned and padded back over to him slowly.
"I just...don't want to bother you...if you're busy or something.." She said softly.
