Candice was already at the ER and, when Sarah came in, she said "Thank you, Sarah. Now, you have to leave the room. This is going to get bloody before I and the other doctors are done with her."

After a few hours of waiting and watching and praying, Cody finally felt relieved when he saw the doctors leave with a happy smile on their faces. As they exited, Cody jumped through the open window and landed lightly on the floor next to Shay. HE sees that she is awake and lowers his ears while saying extremely sorrily "I'm so sorry, Shay. I didn't mean to."

Cody lowered his head and said "Well, for starters, you are in a vampire hospital. I was hurt pretty badly and you let me feed upon you but I went into a feeding frenzy and I am the monster who is the reason you are in here."

Cody looked at Shay and sighed. HE said sorrily "I shouldn't have done that. I should have just died then put you in risk. I am sorry, Shay. I am a monster."

Cody lowered his head and said "It does matter. I am the one who put you in here. You should be screeching and hissing at me because you are so ticked off at me. Why aren't you? I don't get it."

Cody sighed and said "I just feel awful that I couldn't control myself around you and look where you are now."

Cody sighed and said "In a few hours, Shay, once they release you. Remember, I can't be in here because this is a vampire hospital but I had to come and see you. I have to go before they see me."

Cody sighed and said "If they shoot me what will you do? They will shoot me if they see me with silver bullets and try to kill me. People love wolves, even humans love my kind, but they hate vampires. I wounder why. Do you know?"
