The werewolves chased Shay and when they caught up to her. They tried to jump but before they could Cody came in and jumped on one. He easily killed that one and held the other ten at bay. He looked at Shay and yelled "Run!!!!!!!!!!! Get out of here..." One of the wolves shot him with silver bullets and another hit him with a bat. HE growled and killed those two but got hit again with another set of bullets. Cody stood shakily for a while and fell down to one knee. HE got back up and killed that one and the others. He fell down in a pool of his own blood. He was shaking really badly.

Brother Wolf growled aggressively and snapped at Shay's hand.

Brother Wolf yelped in pain and growled more aggressively. He snapped at Shay's hand again.

Brother Wolf spat in Shay's face and said aggressively "Why do you think I am growling at you? You are hurting me and Cody and that's why he retreated behind me so I could shield him from most of the pain. I don't just growl for no reason, especially at you."

Cody smiled sadly, gaining control again, and said "It's to late, Shay. Once the silver gets in it stays in. No matter what unless I drink your blood, mate's blood is exposed to help the other mate heal faster than usual. But it might even be to late for that."

Cody looked up at Shay and asked weakly "What?"

Cody shook his head and said "There must be another way. Vampire blood is exposed to kill werewolves but I think your blood will restore me. Mate blood has extremely strong healing powers. So, let me bite you and drink your blood. Please."

Cody sighed and said "I can't, Shay. I can't risk getting a frenzy. I might kill you, Shay, and I would never forgive myself."
