Halina smirked and looked back at her pups before laying her head back down

1 year later...

Halina was prancing around town, knowing that her pups where happy where they where, and she always seemed a bit happy lately.

Simon padded down the street, his sled collar hanging loosely around his neck.

Halina soon sat down, and noticed Simon coming and perked up and smiled at him.

"Heya Halina." Simon barked with a smile as he padded over.

"Hi Simon!" she said cheerfully as she wagged her tail more.

"How are ya?" He asked as he sat down next to her.

"Fine," she said and smiled at him and looked down the street at the woods. "Waiting on Link to come home," she said.

"Ah," Simon nodded. "There was a huge snowdrift on the trail this morning. He must have had to take the detour around it."

Halina chuckled, "Probably." She sat back watching Simon closely, almost not helping but tell him, but she had to keep it a secret, she was probably way too old for him, by like 4 years.

Simon turned to glance down the street, watching groups of dogs that passed by, watching particular dogs closely.

Halina couldn't help it any longer and looked up at Simon, "Hey Simon." she started

Simon didn't reply at first, his attention was on some girl that walked down the street. Once she was out of sight he turned to Halina. "Yea?"

"N-never mind," she said, "I'm being crazy if i said this."

Simon tilted his head, but didn't pressure.
