"Maybe he's messed up about it too.." Duke suggested.

"He seemed like it..I just...can't believe Prince is really Dead." Warbler muttered, looking up at Duke.
"I dont want to believe it." she stated.

Duke looked down at her. "They say fighters like him..die young...because they challange themselves...so hard."

Warbler sighed, and looked up at Duke.
"I'll sleep on it..if I wake up crying, tell the kids...I ran into a wall or somethin'.." she said quietly, before drifting off into a sad dreamless sleep.

Duke nodded and lay his head down, not bothering to sleep.

Many mornings came and went, slowly dragging by. Warbler slowly fell into routine, get up, feed the pups, eat, play, talk with Duke, sleep. It was an endless cycle, boring as it was. Warbler kept waiting for a visit from Princey, though it slowly began to slip her mind.

Princey visited toward the end of the week, his quiet approach causing Duke to rise quickly to his feet, as if in defense.

Warbler perked at the sight of Prince's brother, almost happy to see him.
"Duke, it's fine." She said, nudging him slightly as zhe stood up. Boon perk and padded up to Princey bravely.
"You look like Duke mister." Gwen said, also approaching Princey. Boon nodded I agreement, sniffing at Princey.

Princey looked down at the pups, "Well..i was born first," he noted with a smirk. "So really he looks like me." he said as he padded over. "Sorry i didn't come right away.." he said to Warbler. "I got into a mix up with a friend and i didn't want to come around the munchkins like the bloody mess i was."

Boon snickered, whispering some clever remark to his sister. The pups followed aPrincey around, jumping and nipping at his swaying tail.
"It's fine.." Warbler replied, beginning to get used to Princey's job.

Princey noticed the two pups going at his tail. And for a moment he thought about raising it out of their reach, but thought against it and flicked it back and forth for their amusement.

Both pups squealed with laughter, jumping over each other to get his tail. Warbler smiled faintly at her pups amusement in Princey's tail.
"So, um.." she said, not really knowing why she wanted Princey to visit. "How've ya been?" she asked awkwardly.

Princey shrugged. "Nothin exciting. It's odd really. I dunno." he looked at her. "And you..?" he asked. "I know it must be hard..but you been alright?"

Warbler shrugged weakly, looking down at Prince's dog tags.
"I feel guilty...since the last time I talked to him I was yelling.." She admitted, wincing as Boon snapped harshly onto Princey's tail.

Princey perked, feeling the sting of the puppy teeth. He glanced back at them and merely flicked his tail again, not much bothered by the pain.
"Prince wasn't one to take things to heart...im sure he forgave you as soon as you said it." he said.
