The Secret of NIMH 2 is quite possibly one of the worst direct-to-video sequels ever made. The original NIMH is one of the greatest animated features ever made, up there with Bambi.
But the sequel S-U-C-K-E-D. The animation was crap, the songs were unnecessary and irritating, and the whole thing was dumbed down politically correct kiddie fluff. Don Bluth had nothing to do with it. I don't blame him.

Yeah the third movie was just "blah" I hated the plot and not all but some of the characters.

Charlie and the chocolate factory (the old one) they spoilt it. the Umpa-lumpas looked like clowns with their horrid Green hair (i have a fear of clowns- see http://baltosource.timduru.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16383&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=clowns
They swapped the squirrels for geese wit golden eggs (don't get me wrong i do like geese but thought the squirrels were much better for the story).
And the Bucket family had a television-yet they were extremely poor-that just doesnt add up. Also i didn't like the fact hat Charley and Grandpa jo tried the fizzy lifting drink and that Willy Wonka got angry at them.
the were other things too but I wont mention them all.

As for the new movie i have never seen it but i didn't like the look of it from the Ads...(clowns again)

to be honest, The only Rhald Dhal movie I ever liked was The BFG (animated).
