Racheal grinned and nodded, he looked like a kid in a candy shop. She smiled and sipped the warm tea. She loved tea and different drinks, other than strong drinks and water. She looked at the ceiling and then at the library keeper. One guy stormed inside the library "Racheal!" He exclaimed, grabbing a handful of her hair and dragging her off to the side. Racheal winced, digging her nails into his hand. "You dare come back!?" He growled, gripping her hair tighter. Racheal glared, "Yeah. And I've come to stay too." She hissed, twisting his wrist until he let go.

Rikkes poked his head up from behind a shelf, hearing a ruckus. He sighed, walking out and drawing his sword. "You alright?" he asked her, concern evident in his voice.

Racheal looked over and nodded, "Just fine. I've got this guy where I want him." She said confidently. Her eyes met the man's. He chuckled and balled his fist, swinging with all his force and striking her jaw. Racheal screamed out as she scrapped her side against the chair. She hit the floor and winced, looking up at the man. She kicked him in a sensitive spot and pulled herself up, taking a good punch too. But this guy was stronger than her by far. He slapped her hard, slammed her against the shelves, punched her in the stomach, cursed at her, and physically abused her non-stop. Racheal was gasping for air, "Okay Rikkes. Now some help would be nice." She said, her face swelling and her arms tiring. He was leaving bruises.

Rikkes nodded, charging forward and slamming himself full force into the man. He sent himself and the man sprawling on the floor and then quickly got to his feet, ready to attack again if needed.

Racheal tried to get herself off the ground, she wasn't feeling worth anything at the moment and the fast that this man wasn't even known by her made it all worse. The man stood up in defense, drawing his own sword before giving Racheal a hard kick to the stomach. She gripped her abdomine and gasped for air, rolling on her side and wincing. She couldn't help it. The pain was unbearable. A few tears slipped from her eyes.

Rikkes moved forward quickly, sending a fury of attacks, before stepping in front of her, "Get back pig!" he snarled, his blood boiling. He was almost worked up enough to shift into a predator.

The man glared, "Why? Does it anger you to see her hurt? Huh!? Get angry. I wanna see you get angry!" He said, glaring and challenging this young boy. The man walked back over and kicked Racheal in her face. She screamed and grabbed her face, rolling onto her back. She felt like she was dying slowly. The guy grabbed her by her hair and stood her up, punching her again before throwing her across a table and into one of the shelves. Books fell ontop of her, hitting her multiple times. The man laughed and turned at Rikkes.

Rikkes felt a growl rise in his throat. He rarely shifted into anything with bloodlust. He didn't like to. Even his dog form, which was fairly dangerous, wasn't nearly as terrible. But, then again, he never really got angry. "You wanna see me angry?" he said, voice twisted in a snarl. He felt his body changing, bones snapping and re-framing. He dropped, a tall, dark, deadly mountain lion. He never had control over what predator he changed into, but they were always deadly.

The man smiled a sinister grin, "Beautiful." He said and began to fight this big cat. A couple of his buddies were outside, acting all tough. Soon guards swarmed in, pushing the big cat away from the man who was acting to be badly injured. "Help someone help me!" He screamed, he was a good actor. He knew what he was doing.

Rikkes tried to claw his way towards the man, angry, wanting to get back at him. The beast that always ran through his veins, usually hidden deep inside was now exposed. It was the curse of the shifter. One got all the wonderful creatures to become, but there was always the terrible things as well. He couldn't control himself as this animal, as the animal had taken over, for now.

2 guards made their way over to Racheal, checking her paulse. "Miss. Miss." They said and shook her. When they got no response the simply shook their heads and looked at her injuries. There weren't made by that mountain lion, they were made by a man. One guard picked her up, holding her like he would a baby. Racheal's head was back and her body was limp. The guards were having no trouble carrying her though, she didn't weigh much. Racheal was out cold and unaware that she was getting carried off to a medic.

Rikkes watched the start to carry Racheal away and his first response was to fight his way free and run after them. He was starting to gain back his human consciousness, and he felt terrible for letting her see him like this.

The guard ignored the lion and shook his head, how did this animal get down here anyway? There was no way this creature belonged down here. It was to be killed a.s.a.p. The guard carried Racheal a few blocks over, all the way to the medic. There her cuts were being tended to but there was nothing they could do about her bruises or about the swelling. But they did give her some herbs to try and help the swelling go down.

Rikkes bounded down the street, desperate to get to her. His heart pounded, he knew he couldn't risk shifting here in the open or he would be captured and killed... and if he got away as a human, they'd know who he was.

Racheal lay on her back, breathing slow yet shallow. She was in a deep sleep at the moment, completely unconcious. The medics put a warm rag on her forehead and began to sweep the floors around her. They were thinking that she may have been an escaped convict or somone just as bad. No innocent person would recieve a beating this bad for nothing. Racheal felt dizzy and transparent, like she was going to be sick. But how? She wan't even awake yet.
