"Should I go talk to him..?" she asked, looking after Marty with a perplexed gaze.

Scotty remained quiet, no longer feeling as if he should share, he thought if anyone could talk him down it'd be Syd.

"I'll go talk to him, anyways. I feel obligated too." she said, taking off after Marty. She caught up to him rather quickly. She light touched his arm as she said his name.
"Hey, Marty. Are you ok?" she asked.

He had taken out a cigarette but hadn't lit it yet. When she touched him and spoke he jumped and yelped. he couldn't catch bot his items when he nearly dropped them, so he cought his sandwich instead of his cigarette. He then turned to look at her curiously, sighing when he saw it was only Sydney.
"Yeah... I'm fine..." he replied softly.

"You seem high strung, here sit down." Sydney said, sitting on the curve and offering him to sit with her.

"...You... want me to sit with you...?" Marty seemed genuinely confused by this action. Why? Because his entire life through school, pretty blonde girls-well any pretty girl-had snubbed him and pretended his very existence didn't matter. There where girls in his life but usually they where just for one nights stands or a a drunken makeout session in a bathroom.

Sydney smiled at him and nodded, "Yeah, of course I want you to sit with me!" she chimed, Sydney was a very sweet girl, she didn't realize just le pretty she was, therefore she had been rather popular at school
