Blaine noticed when Ryan flipped off the hay bale. She smiled a little, but didn't say a word as he left the barn. Then she felt for the Ryan's necklace around her neck. Smiling, It was still there. She giggled, hoping Claire would notice it. She flipped her hair over her shoulder and smiled, revealing her pearly white teeth.

Jacklyn couldn't believe the way that her idol was ignoring her! She had bothered to get showered and dressed in a hurry, and now, when she wanted to talk to Blaine, the girl was nowhere in sight!

Oh, she's probably playing kissy face with THAT GUY!, thought Jacklyn, scowling. Suddenly, recklessly, she made her way back into the house, and into the closed garage. Looking around, Jacklyn took in a myriad of sights, sounds, and scents that made her glad of the silence that surrounded her. She would ordinarily be lusting for the great outdoors, but, right now, she was irked about Blaine's unexpected daffiness, and, as her eyes adjusted to the darkness of the garage, she felt her pulse slowing ever so slightly, responding to the peace and quiet.

The scent of car grease held a certain appeal, and the dim outline of a pair of work gloves seemed strangely comforting. Jacklyn made her way over to the family truck, and, to her surprise, it was unlocked, so she climbed into the driver's seat, gasping when she realized that the KEYS were still in the ignition!

Reaching out, she turned the keys, and a Western tune came on...LOUDLY blaring into her ears! Wincing, the teenager turned the volume down, and then, she changed the station until she was listening to Blue Collar Radio. If she couldn't talk to Blaine, then she was going to laugh at Larry The Cable Guy's jokes, just as her mother would NOT want for her to do, for as many hours as it might take for Blaine to cure herself of "The Goo-Goo Eyes Syndrome" that was plaguing her!

Ryan led Titanic over to one of the arenas. Going to practice the barrel racing like they always did. It was Ryan's favorite sport ever. With a simple click of his tounge, Ryan sent Titanic weaving through the barrels already set up. Titanic snorted and skidded to a stop, almost throwing Ryan. The confued rider hopped off, "Titanic. What's wrong boy?" He asked, noticing that he was holding his back leg off the ground.

Quietly, Blaine crept over to the equipment stall past Claire. She dug through a basket of combs, brushes and other horse care products. She found Charlie's brush and comb. His name was written on it. She traced the neatly written letters with her fingers as she walked back over to Charlie who was pawing the ground anxiously. She ran the brush over his coat, removing the dried dirt. When she was finished, Blaine carefully combed the snarls out of her horse's mane and tail. "Dull." She thought, looking at Charlie's mane. She did a running braid in his mane:

"Now that's pretty!" Blaine thought, securing the end of the braid with a elastic band.

OOC:// Pardon, but what's been happened so far?

OOC::// Well. Jacklyn had a little accident on Biff, Blaine rode a draft horse while all the others followed, and Blaine went on a midnight ride with Ryan and he gave her a necklace. Now its Monday and Morgan had declared riding practice to be today. Just a short summary.

Blaine climed up into the saddle and held her head high as she rode out of the barn on her arabian. Noticing the green color in her hair, Blaine rolled her eyes. Charlie started trotting, showing he was full of energy. Practice was starting in twenty minutes. "Ryan, What's wrong?" She asked once she was next to Ryan on her horse. "Are you okay?"

Ryan looked up. "Yeah I'm okay it's Titanic who's actin' funny." He said. Looking at his hoof. Ryan didn't notice the rock wedged painfully in Titanic's horse shoe. Titanic whinnied as Ryan began feeling around his hoof, wanting him to stop. Titanic pulled his leg back and put it gently on the ground. Not putting any weight on it.

"Here, Let me take a look. My mom taught me all about horses' feet." Blaine said as she hopped off of Charlie and tying him to one of the wooden posts outside the arena. She gently stroked Titanic, keeping him calm. "Shh.. It's alright. I'm not going to hurt you..." Blaine coaxed as she started to lift up his leg.

Rory trotted Dancer down the same old road for what seemed like the thousandth time to meet his friends, Morgan had declared a riding lesson and he had decided to go to watch and maybe practice a bit.

By the time that Larry the Cable Guy had shouted his last "Gitter DONE!", Jacklyn had become fed up with her solitary situation.

Something about her life has GOT to change, so that she'll pay attention to me again!, she thought determinedly, exiting the truck, and walking into the kitchen.

As she ate a sad breakfast quietly, Jacklyn thought about her friendship with Blaine, of secrets shared, of promises made, of admirations cultivated by imagination and discussions. Suddenly, being second best was NOT going to cut the mustard!

Swallowing the last bit of her cereal, the redhead quickly rinsed her dishes, left the kitchen, and strode back into Blaine's room. If Blaine wasn't going to pay any more attention to her, then she was going to just plain PAY!

Rummaging through the objects on Blaine's dresser as quietly as she could, Jacklyn found a pair of delicate diamond earrings. Grabbing them quickly, she curled her fingers about them, feeling her heartbeat quicken with anger.

Approaching the night stand beside Blaine's bed, Jacklyn ran her free index finger through a cloud of surface dust.

"You're NOT so PERFECT, ARE you, REBEL PRINCESS Blaine?", she sneered, but her smile was momentary, and her mind was miserable.

Sighing, she opened the night stand's little, brown drawer, and her eyes were immediately drawn to a simple, brown, leather book. The cover of the book bore the black outline of a lovely horse, and the side of the book was adorned with a gold-tone lock, from which protruded a little, golden key!

"These secrets are MINE now, TRAITOR!", whispered Jacklyn, carefully lifting the diary from the drawer, and closing the drawer without a sound. "If you're going to treat me like some pitiful little Cinderella, then you'll have to come to ME in order to get your belongings back!"

Silently, slyly, Jacklyn rewound her entire morning. She retrieved her own clothing. Then she closed Blaine's bedroom door, changed back into her clothes, placed Blaine's clothing into the laundry hamper, hid her treasures in a paper bag that Blaine had discarded on her bedroom floor, and approached the door.

Suddenly, she felt her face warming with even more feelings of frustration, and she looked about her. When she was certain that nobody else was looking, she dashed into the living room, grabbed Blaine's photo album, snuck out of the house, and somehow made her way back to her own house without being seen by Blaine, Morgan, Kathy, or any of the others.

Blaine frowned when she saw the little rock, wedged between the horse shoe. "Ooh, that looks painful." She whispered, pointing it out to Ryan. "I'm don't know how to get that out... but my mom sure does." She said, letting Titanic's leg drop down slowly.

Franticly, Blaine began to sift through supplies in the tack stall, looking for the tools Kathy had described over the phone. "Come on! Where is it?" She said to herself. Practice was starting soon and Titanic was in no condition to run, and Jacklyn never decided if she was going to ride a draft, or Lady. This day wasn't going to be easy for Blaine.

Titanic whinnied lowly and quietly, as if to say yes. Now you see. The big horse held his hoof off the ground but just barely. Ryan nodded, stroking his horse. "It'll be okay Titanic. Just a stone." He reassured, Titanic's ears went back as if embarrased. Titanic whinnied again as he put pressure on his hoof.

Jacklyn sighed to herself! She had made it into her room...on a quiet Monday morning...WITHOUT having been caught!

Sneaking about, she quietly hid the earrings inside of a wooden, heart-shaped box that was inside of the top drawer of her night stand. Then, she stuffed the photo album in the closet.

Seating herself on the floor, next to her bed, so that nobody could see her, she turned the key of the diary, and the front cover flipped up ever so slightly.

"I'm gonna find out EVERYTHING about YOU!", she whispered, opening the secret diary! The taped-in picture of Blaine's old horse Bull startled the red-haired girl as she stared at it. The old horse's eyes seemed to be saying, "It is YOU who is the TRAITOR, taking my mistress' diary, and her photo album, AND her earrings, and STEALING them for YOURSELF!"

Right then, Jacklyn closed the diary, whispering, "I won't betray you, Bull." Gathering the other two stolen items, she snuck back out of her window, and, somehow, she managed to get onto the next door lot without being seen.

The garage was still open, so she snuck back into the house, and into Blaine's room, all without being caught. Just as she was about to return the earrings and the diary, she saw Morgan sitting on Blaine's bed! The other girl looked up at her, and she froze, blinking in surprise!
