Kat sighed and stood, her body still aching terribly. She mounted her horse quickly a small frown on her face.

Ian kicked his horse into high gear and they began hurrying off down the road, hoping to avoid further questioning about his brother.

Kat's horse struggled to keep up, but she soon started to notice little changes in the environment. The marshy woods gave way to dryer, sandy-type soil. The trees were slowly becoming harder to find, and after a good 3 hours of riding, they found themselves in a rotting desert.

(I know there aren't any realt deserts from England to Ireland, but yah.)

((-shrug- I got no idea xD))

Ian looked around, stopping his horse slowly.
"Where are we?" He asked with a frown.

"Looks like a desert, but that's not right. There ARE no deserts between the Kingdom and Dublin...There's a small sea, but that's all.." Kat said, getting off her horse also and blinking in confusion.

((You should have Ian get mad and be all 'You no-good liar!' LoL ))

Ian was off of his horse in an instant, slamming an angry fist into his chest and grabbing her shirt, pulling her off the ground to look him in the eye.
"You little liar." He snarled. "I'll kill you."

"I-I'm not lying!" Kat yowled, feeling her hands tremble, "Maybe the rivers just dried out! It's been a while since I've been to Dublin!" Kat screeched, her hands hanging loosely at her sides.

Ian dropped her angrily.
"Find a way or else." He snapped stiffly.

Kat whimpered when she fell, a fresh wave of pain making her shake. She stood uncertainly and mounted her horse, looking in a directions, but deciding to go north.

Ian swiftly hopped up on his own black horse, and followed Kat angrily, deep in his thoughts as they rode in silence.

Kat continued to ride, though, after a while, her tongue became dry. Soon she was dehydrated, gasping for breath. She jumped off of her horse, stumbling and falling to the ground.

Ian was too dehydrated, and hopped off his own horse. He knelt down beside Kat and scooped her up, laying her across her horse's back before climbing tiredly onto his. He snapped the horse's side and they jolted forwards, rushing quickly into what Ian hoped was the right way.

Kat's head pounded, her face burned.

Soon, th dry arid desert turned into the rolling green hills, leading to a stream. Ian scooped up a handful of water and threw it at Kat's face, before kneeling down and drinking dome.

Kat coughed, her eyes fluttering to life. She sat up weakly, rubbing her head. "What...happened..?" She muttered, looking at Ian for answers.
