Duncan struggled with the dog and shouted at it in German, he knew it took German commands. He managed to pull a knife from his pocket and stick it between the dog's ribs. The medic gave Duncan something for the pain, but not too much. He smiled at Duncan. "You could go home with a purple heart." he said. Duncan shook his head. "No. I want to stay and fight." he said. The medic shrugged. "If that's what you want, now, do you know if the dog was rabid?" he asked. Duncan shook his head. "He looked healthy to me, i rather doubt that he was. That German prized him too much for that or he would have shot the beast to put it out of its misery after I stabbed it." he said.

Duncan shrugged, "You probably should give me a tetanus shot anyway." he said. The medic nodded and walked away to get it.
