Greene and Pat just hung out in the room, playing cards, wondering where Haruki was.

Cell, frustrated, huffed and knocked the cards the two were playing clean off the table.
"When I sound concerned about one of my players, I mean for YOU two to investigate!" he scoffed. "Mango! Accompany these two, and ensure that they bring Haruki back," he paused, "and not slack off like I think they will."




Meanwhile, Haruki had fallen deep in the snow, and as the blizzard remained triumphant over his broken spirits, he was slowly being buried alive.

Greene huffed and looked at Cell.
"but he'll turn up!"

"No buts!" Cell rebuked. "Go!" he ordered, pointing a finger toward the door.

Both Furries sighed and walked out of the room, Mango trailing then.
"Haaaarukiiiii?" Pat called down the long hall.

Ne'er even the slightest glance of the vim-and-vigor Furry, the halls were empty, save Pat, Greene and his kid-brother, of course. The candles' flames danced, licking at the frosty breeze that wafted through the opening in the grand doors.

...Opening? That would imply Haruki left the castle!

Greene raced through the doors put into the cold, immediately feelin the temperature plumit. Pat shivered violently, having been used to the always sunny videogame climate. Greene looked around, before seeing some tracks in the snow, and following them.

Footsteps there were, indeed, but where would they even lead? What if new snow would soon follow to cover up the older footsteps, and serve to set them off-track?

"..."

There was an unnatural lump in the snow, and luckily the two furies got there just in enough time to see that was where the tracks ended.
"Haruki you stupid basta*d." Greene grumbled, Pat and him grabbing the furrie's ankles and dragging him out from under the snow. Greene picked him up bridal-style and the three made their way back to the castle, forgetting about the little orange pup left behind...!

Haruki's body remained motionless; still. ...Fake, even.

In an instant, "Haruki" dispersed, and as the life-like manakin fell to the snow, the replica vanished. Behind, footsteps were heard.
"I am afraid you lot are too late." came a voice. "Your friend is no longer here, and has met some rather... unfortunate circumstances." the man said plainly, his voice thick with maturity, yet young all the same.

Greene jumped at the voice and twirled around.
"What do you mean?!" He demanded, tears threatening to come out. Pat glared slightly, and looked around too.

"That is for him to know, and us to find out." the man said, stepping out from the shadows. Though, by all means, the clothing he was donned in was as black as the night itself, so it mattered little.
"I used this fabrication of what you dogs commonly refer to as 'Haruki' as my lure; a lure to reel in you tenacious little fish..."

Greene at the human, grabbing him by his neck and hoisting him into the air roughly.
"Where. Is. Haruki." He snarled, baring his large teeth. Pat snarled from behind him, ready to go all "dog" on the man.

"Unpleasant..." the man hissed, fading into an afterimage--reappearing at the castle doors.
"I know where your friend is; I was almost kind enough to tell you. But if it is conflict you lust, then so shall I deliver it in good tidings..." he scoffed, his dark brown eyes burning brightly from underneath his mask, and from under his cloaked hood.

Just then, he outstretched his hand, and a sickle-blade materialized in the air before him. It was basically a small scythe connected and fastened to a chain; like a lasso, only if a lasso was made out of fresh moonsilver, and had a deadly, sharp edge with spikes protruding from the other end.

He gripped it with his clawed gauntlet, and twirled it above his head with his other hand, like a reaper of death's invitation.
"No... I would exchange blows before I would exchange words, you witless boors... Come. The bloodbath awaits."

Greene began stepping forward, but Pat stopped him.
"Just tell us where he is." The grey furry growled, holding Greene in place.
