"I'm glad that you agree, Krystalia," King Arthur said and walked over to Hobbes. "Neal down, son." He said and drew his sword. Hobbes knelt down in front of King Arthur. The King rested the sword tip on both of his shoulders and told him to rise up, Hobbes did as he was told. "Behold, Sir Hobbes!" King Arthur exclaimed and sheathed his sword.

Krystalia was trying very hard to stifle the happiness and pride she felt when her father knighted Hobbes. I know you can't hear my thoughts, but I'm so proud of you! Sugarfoot neighed and bucked his head to display Krystalia's happiness for her. "Thanks Sugarfoot," Krystalia whispered to him.

Hobbes glanced at Krystalia and gave her a small smile, then a voice shouted behind him. "Hobbes Gorlois, a knight." Hobbes turned around to see his friend, Kay.
"Didn't think you had it in you!" he exclaimed.

Krystalia saw Hobbes smile and resisted the urge to run and hug him. We can't let Father know just yet... I have to relax and hide it... "Father, I am going to go brush Sugarfoot and then clean up myself. Is there anything else occurring today that I should be aware of?"

King Arthur turned to his daughter. "No, nothing else." King Arthur confirmed.

"I-I guess I did have it in me." Hobbes replied to his friend. Kay just grinned and pounded Hobbes on the back. "I'm kinda jelouse of you, Hobbes." Kay confessed. "You, jelouse of me?" Hobbes laughed.

"Okay. Thank you, Father." Krystalia walked over to Hobbes and laid a hand on his shoulder. "Do not be surprised that your friend is jealous of you; you are a brave and skilled young knight. But just remember," she added looking at Kay and taking her hand off of Hobbes, "the jealousy is not a good trait for anyone of stature to possess It will only prevent you from achieving your goals." With that, Krystalia nodded her leave to her father, and headed off towards the stables with Sugarfoot in tow.

Hobbes watched Krystalia walked away. He turned back to Kay, who looked confused. "Was that...?" he asked but trailed off when Hobbes nodded.

bic:// Krystalia brushed Sugarfoot and rinsed him off. "Here you go," she cooed, giving Sugarfoot his favorite oats once he was back in his stall. "You deserve these. You are a very loyal and wonderful friend. I don't know what I would have done out there without you." Sugarfoot rolled his eyes at Krystalia, making he laugh. Then he nuzzled her, and she gave him a kiss on the nose. "It's my turn to get cleaned up now. Don't be too much trouble for the stable hands while I'm gone." Krystalia winked at her horse who neighed goodbye, and then she was gone.

Kay said he was going to go sleep, so he left Hobbes alone. Hobbes wanted to go to the stables, check up on the horses. He wanted to feel like a boy again, before he was a knight. He took off toward the stables.

Krystalia sighed as she sank into a nice warm bath. I did miss hot baths; my muscles were starting to get a little stiff... She sat there and relaxed, letting all of the dirt and her troubles melt away at least for a little while. Tomorrow I will be back out training and dealing with suitors. I'll have to wait for a while before choosing Hobbes or father will get suspicious. I'll have to be nice to the idiots though... or at least nicer than before...

Sugarfoot neighed when Hobbes came into the stable. He didn't think he'd be seeing that boy Krystalia seems to like for a while.

Hobbes's head snapped toward Sugarfoot, then smiled. "Hello, Sugarfoot." Hobbes said politley and approached him.

Sugarfoot rolled his eyes at Hobbes's formality and decided his oats were more interesting than a "civilized" conversation. Humans... He snorted, and then continued eating.

Krystalia sadly decided it was time to relinquish her relaxation and resume her duties within the castle. I'll have to dress nice... She sighed at the thought of having to walk around in a heavy dress for the rest of the day. Krystalia put on her lightest dress, and pulled the front of her hair back. At least I can say I'm pulling my hair back to "accent" my circlet so I don't have to deal with my hair being in my face...

Hobbes stopped approching Sugarfoot and frowned when his head dipped into the oats bag(?) and just stood there, not knowing what to do.

Sugarfoot ruffled Hobbes hair to try and get him to loosen up. Ridiculous humans. At least mine knows you're supposed to relax after a long mission or battle.

Krystalia decided to go to the throne room and ask her father what duties needed to be completed.

"Well I better get going," he said shyly to the horse. Then left the stables.
