Dax jumped to his feet, rushing to her side.

Link whimpered and grabbed the ground with her paw.

"I'll get you some water." Dax said and ran to the creek.

4 hours later...

Link was calm again. With some pups at her side... 5 of them. Some looking like her, and some that looked like Dex, because it was Tron's litter with her.

Dax set down a bowl had found earlier in the year at his old pack. It sloshed over slightly.

Link looked up at Dex and smiled, "You can call them you're," she said.

Dax smiled, "Hello pupsicles." he said softly.

"they can't hear you yet... or see..." she said wishing that they could see. "But you can get them used to you're smell, they just need to stay near me." she said, this was her first time being a mother, but she just knew everything.

Dax nodded, he smiled and walked over, not too close, he had experience with faes with pups, his father had been kicked out of the den for even looking at him and his siblings. He lay down and put his head on his paws.

Link tilted her head, "What are you doing?" she asked.

"making sure you don't bite my head off, even if you don't think you would." Dax said, laughing quietly.

InfiniteChaos · **Posted:** Mon Dec 05, 2011 9:12 pm

"I won't, i trust you." she said and set her head down on the ground, "I'm allowing you, besides... why would I bite you're head off?"

Dax shrugged, "Dunno." he said, he stood and walked to her side.

When he got close Link felt her mother instinks kick in and the fur along her spin bristled, but she kept the growl in.

Dax lay next to her, though.. not to close to the pups, she needed time to get used to them.. and him as a 'father' around them.
