Safari took the two young lions near the borders. He had told them the story of Scar. "Scar couldn't let go of his hate. In the end, it destroyed him." he said. "we never heard a story like that before." Kefir said. "He was truly a killer." Hadi commented.

Kaliona walked towards Adia. "Adia!" she called. "Your mother wanted me to tell you that we need to hunt. I'm covering the Northern side. You'll cover near the gorge." She nodded and went back into the den.

Adia nodded and ran towards the gorge she felt scared and happy at the same time because she was going into the gorge where Mufasa was murded by Scar. As Adia neared the gorge she then slowed her pace down unaware about the danger that was lurking before her.

(This is the part where kefir saves Adia, just lettin you know)

"FIRE is a killer." Safari corrected. "But what's left behind can grow even better than the generation before." He put his paw on the ground and pressed. When he removed his paw, a tiny sapling was there. He, Kefir and Hadi put their heads down to look at it. "If given the chance."

Adia stopped she then looked up at the hill in the gorge, she gulped she then saw a herd of wildbeest running straight towards her she gasped and ran as fast as she could she then was dodging sharp hooves and horns she then looked on the edge of the gorge to find something to grab hold of. "HELP!....'' She screamed still running and dodging the wildbeest.

"HELP!!!"
The scream echoed the plains. Safari, Hadi and Kefir put their heads up and listened. "That sound almost like....." Safari began to say. "ADIA!" Both Hadi and Kefir said at the same time. "How?" Safari asked, his heart heavy. "Kaliona told me that she had been sent to hunt near the gorge, but not in it. She must have ended up in it instead." Kefir panicked. the three lions took off towards the gorge.

Adia kept on running but tripped she then got up just in time to escape the powerful hooves of the wildbeest.

Kefir, Hadi and Safari reached the top of the gorge in no time. They frantically searched for Adia. When Kefir finally saw her, he yelled, "ADIA! Stay put! we're coming!"

Adia looked up and saw Kefir,Her father and brother she then tripped but was too late to get up she felt hooves crush on her spine.

Kefir couldn't bear to see Adia hurt. He leaped into the gorge and weaved through the wildebeest towards Adia. He ignored Safari and Hadi's yell of "Come Back!"

Adia tripped again but got up this time her heart pounding she thought her heart would pound out of her chest. She then kept on running but was trapped by the edge of the gorge she then turned around but the wildbeest was coming straight towards her she knew she wouldn't make it.

Kefir leaped at her and caught her neck in his jaws and hoisted her up on her paws. "Quick, come on." he told her when she looked at him and ran towards the cliff where Safari and Hadi were standing.

Adia ran and jumped up on the cliff and almost slipped but was immedately caught by her father Safari.

Hadi ran over to his father's side and hauled Adia up.
"I thought you were a goner." he panted and nuzzled his sister.
He was surprised when Adia went over to Kefir's side.

Adia smiled but her heart was still pounding she then nuzzled her brother and looked at Kefir, "Thankyou for saving me. Were you a little scared?'' Adia asked.

He shook his head. "I was only afraid of losing you." he replied.
