Kala smiled at Asali and Renu, they seemed to be close but she didn't say anything. She was happy that Asali was happy, after what happened with Enzi, and her running away, the princess was glad that Asali had found some measure of happiness.

"Follow me then." she said "And you don't have to call me 'princess', Asali, I think since we grew up in the same pride we can call each other by our names. Your mother and sister were talking to my Aunt Vitani, last I saw, that was...near the Water Hole and they were heading back to Priderock."

Chaka sulked, lagging behind the group with a sour expression. He didn't fail to notice Asali's pointed looks at him but that didn't stop him glaring at the back of Renu's head. He hated that lion and he only knew him for five minutes. He also noticed, out of the corner of his eye, his sister and Enzi on a nearby hill. Debating for a minute, he broke off from the group approaching the two. His sister would need to be there for the fireworks that ensued when Renu met their mother.

"Jia. We need you back at Priderock." Chaka called.

Renu noticed Chaka run off and he stopped for a moment before shaking his head he soon fallowed Kala and Asali in to the pride. He couldn't help but feel nervous, he was going to see his mother again and he wasn't even sure if she would remember him.

His ears lowered slightly at the thought. He hadn't seen his mother since he was a cub, would she remember him..?. Would she even care to see him again he wondered because his mother always told him that he reminded her of her father even though she didn't know him that well she said he looked so much like him. Soon his thoughts went straight to Kovu, the lion who had became mates with his mother and for some reason Kovu only shunned his brother Rudo never him.

Every time Kovu looked at him, he looked at him with pity and sadness and Renu never understood why he did. He shrugged it off for now" I'll have to worry about that later" He mumbled to himself as he noticed they got closer to pride rock.

Asali began to smile wider, now properly when Kala said she didn't have to call her princess. Deep down she knew it, it had just been such a long time since she'd seen Kala, and wasn't exactly sure of how to talk to her, she just thought it would've been polite, since time had gone on, and Kala was the princess, so therefore Asali assumed that she wanted to spoken to as a princess should. But now, when Kala said she didn't have to call her princess, Asali felt more relaxed and comfortable around her, and when she really thought about it, Kala really hadn't changed one bit from their cubhood days.

"Thank you, Kala... and yes, maybe we can then" Asali then replied, and chuckled, then she walked after Kala.

Soon enough, Jia and Chaka returned to the group. The youngest princess stayed close to her elder brother with her sightless eyes down. Chaka had explained to her that Asali had returned and Jia was still guilty that it was mostly her fault that Asali had left in the first place.

Chaka kept glancing between Jia and Renu as if trying to determine whether the lion would attack his sister.

Renu yawned and streched as they made there way towards pride rock. Renu felt himself begin to get nervous again. It had been so long since he saw Kiara and he wasn't sure what to expect. Renu looked over at the blind lioness slightly feeling bad for her.

Renu looked at the top of the rocks wondering if Kovu who had always looked on him with pity would deny his request to see his own mother not that he could, Renu was not a part of this pride so he didn't have to listen to they're rules at least thats what he thought.

Kala gave Renu a reassuring smile, the eldest princess could understand if Renu was nervous...after all it must have been a long time since he had seen his--no their mother.

"Who's that?" Jia whispered to Chaka. She knew it was Asali's voice, the princess never forgot a voice, but was there someone else there too? She turned her head in the rough direction of her brother's face.

"Just some lion." was the gruff reply.

A lioness padded out of the den to meet the group, Kiara's red-brown eyes swept fondly over her three children but froze when she spotted him. Could it be? After all this time?

"R-Renu?" the queen asked timidly "Is that you?"

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me." Chaka groaned.

Renu was about to respond to Asali before hearing his mothers voice. He never forgot her voice it was always soothing to the ears. He smiled a little and took a step closer towards his mother" Yeah its mom.." He said lightly.

He chuckled a little not knowing what to do, he was excited and at the same time frightened of how his mother would react to him. He smiled a little more" I've come home mother.." He mumbled moving over towards her.

Kiara turned her head to look at her mate, a frown etched on her face...she knew Kovu was betrayed by her...Renu and Rudo were not his cubs but she had hoped that Kovu would look at them as his sons one day. She was wrong.

"I'm so glad to see you safe...I thought..." Kiara trailed off "But that doesn't matter. You're home now."

"Dad...is he really out brother?" Chaka sounded desperate, he cast Renu a withering glare before looking at his father again "Is it true?"

Jia moved over to where Renu was, her sightless eyes focused in the direction of their mother

"I thought the only brother I had was Chaka..."

Renu looked at his mother and slightly growled in Chaka's direction not liking his attitude towards him but brushed it off and nuzzled his mother. He over heard the light lioness speak and his ears lowered" As much as I hate to say it miss.. It is true.. I am her son as is my brother Rudo.. but it was not willingly that she had us.." He said his ears lowering lightly" It was a meaningless fling between my mother." He paused and looked over at Kiara and back towards them" and Kovu's half brother Nuka.." He said with shame in his voice" Mother did not know any better at the time but i can tell that Kovu forgave her.. with time"

Renu sat down and looked over at Kovu and Kiara" I am sorry I wandered off.. I guess I thought I was good enough to last on my own... I was very wrong but If I had not wandered off I would not have met Asali.." He said looking over at his new mate" But Then again with this being her home I might have met her sooner." He stated chuckling a little but stopped" Wait..-" He said looking over at His mother" Where is Rudo.. My brother surely he's stayed within the boundries of our home right..?" He asked slightly worried for his brother.

(Nama if you didn't know Renu's brother Rudo is actually with Asali's Sister Adanna XD Its a bit weird but cute XD)
