Arthur heard the door slam, and he jogged over to Riley.
"Oh, who?" He asked, then immediantly answered his own question by nearly dropping Riley on the floor. He got down on his knees, cupping Riley's face in his hands.
"What did he do to you?" Arthur demanded, sounding strong, but his hands were shaking. Alfred had come downstairs, but then saw the scene, glared and retreated back to his own room.

I gagged agian "H-he asked how y-you were do-doing an-and I-I told hi-him ta' bac-back off," My voice cracked, "then he grabbed my wrists and pulled me-me i-in rea-really close an-and kissed my neck and said s-some-something about telling me to tel-tell you th-that he misses you" I burred my face in my hands and took a deep breath "Then the b*stard kissed my lips and ran away...Oh God...He scared me..." I was shaking, but my gagging and sobbing had stopped, my breathing was still wildely uneven and there were still thick, hot, tears in my eyes.

Arthur's breath got caught in his throat as he held back a sob.
"S-Shh..Rilz, It's going to be fine. He's after me not you.." He assured her. With all the strength he had left, Arthur picked up Riley and carried her over to the couch and set her down.
"Sean's not going to hurt you." He repeated, highly aware of the loud music blaring from upstairs.

I looked at him, tears blurring my eyes "Arthur, that's why I'm scared, I don't want him to get you...I know what you felt when he did that to you...I don't want that to happen to you ever agian..." I felt tears streamed down my face. I shuttered and curled myself onto his lap. I wanted him to be safe, I wanted him to never get hurt, ever. I pulled myself tighter to Arthur's chest, trying to protect him, but I couldn't. I was so weak and helpless, the only strong person we really had now, who wasn't dead scared of Sean was Alfred, and for some reason he was pissed. My sobbing had stopped, but I kept my head rested on Arthur's shoulder, listening to his soft breathing.

Arthur nodded, rolling Riley off his chest, and onto the couch.
"I'm going to talk to him." He decided, standing up. "Alfred'll protect you here." He said, and the walked out the door. Arthur strode onto Sean's porch, knowing the scot would be there if he was visiting so he didn't need to knock on the door before Sean opened it.
"Please, come in." Sean said politely, shutting the door behind Arthur as he entered the house. Arthur turned to face Sean, finding him expectantly close.
"I need to talk to you."

Alfred came downstairs after he heard the door shut, and then saw Riley, laying on the couch. He walked into the kitchen, and pulled out a day old hamburger, and then plopped down in a chair, turning the tv on.

"N-" I tried to protest, but he was all ready gone. I lay crumpled on the couch until Alfred came down but didn't move. I was so tired now, but I couldn't sleep. Right now, Arthur was over there with that monster and it was my fault, all my fault. I burried my face in my knuckles and ignored Alfred's slight glares. I couldn't breathe agian, but I didn't make a scene, I just took i tuntil my lungs forced themselves full with air. The fient ticking of the grandfather clock in the other room lulled me slightly, but I couldn't sleep.

"Wanna talk?" Alfred asked, althought his eyes were still locked on the tv. He glanced over at Riley and smirked, seeing she was almost asleep.

There wasn't much talking going on in Sean's house. There was yelling, and then Sean kissed Arthur, then there was fighting. Arthur had picked up a knife and cut Sean on the arm. They sliced at each other for a while, before Arthur pinned Sean to the wall.
"S-Sean." He snarled, seeing the younger teen smirking. "Leave. Me. Alone." He ordered, before letting him up and then storming weakly out.

Arthur opened the door to his home, and slammed the door shurt behind him. He whimpered, pain rushing at him from all sides, trying to recall all the places Sean's knife had met his skin. His arm, his chest, his neck, his back... He groaned, then collapsing onto the floor, and deciding to just lay there.

I was about to answer Alfred's question with an unpleasant no when Arthur crashed on the floor. I cursed and shot up from the couch, "Oh, this is bad, this is...this is...Oh God... This is so bad...Oh...Oh God..." I mummbled standing over Arthur and falling to my knees like an idiot. I couldn't think all that straight, he was bleeding, a lot, so much blood...I panicked a shot up, pacing back and forth, looking around frantically for my phone. Why had I let Arthur go to Sean's house?

Arthur made a small noise in the back of his throat before he spoke.
"I-Dont worry about m-me..Im fine." He assured Riley, moving his hand, and putting it on her ankle since it was the only thing he could reach. Alfred slowly walked in with some towels. He knelt down and pulled off Arthur's shirt, then wrapping a towel around his chest.
"Da** dude you can't stay outta trouble.." Alfred said with a sigh. He picked him up, and thrust him onto the couch, then going back to wipe up the blood on the floor. Arthur watched Alfred intently, trying to read his emotions- to no evail.

I frowned and felt my hands shake, I wanted to curl up with Arthur so desperatly that it hurt. I walked slowly over to the couch and nelt down next to him. I looked at him and moved closer to him, without thinking I kissed him and then pulled back. I glanced over at Aflred, who was still buisy cleaning the blood from the floor then looked back at the weak Arthur. I ran my fingers through his hair, concern and pain deep and mostly hidden in my dark brown eyes. I gripped Arthur's hand tightly and frowned even more "I love you..." I said quitly.

Arthur winced at the kiss, at everytime Riley touched him.
"O-okay, i know i know..I need you, to go get me.." He began, each word taking a while for him to say. "To get me..some t-tea." He finally finished, and you could hear Alfred snickering from the other room. The american ran back upstairs to throw the towels in the washer.

"tea..." I asked, understanding nothing. I nodded and arose to my feet, feeling like a robot. Out of pure instinct I prepared some tea, though I didn't know how Arthur could stand the stuff. I brought him a cup and sat on the floor, my back agianst the couch. I looked at my knuckles, feeling like I was in a state of shock. I felt like I was a fish, and my eyes were just veiwing things that I had no controll over. I felt a swishig sort of motion and my stomach churned. I clasped a hand over my mouth and ran upstairs, only to throw up in the toilet. I moaned and tied my hair back after that, incase I had to throw up agian. I brushed my teeth quickly then went back downstairs, seeing Arthur still there.

Arthur nodded a weak thanks to Riley before she was running upstairs. He watched her go before Alfred appeared again, behind Arthur, rubbing his shoulders.
"Hey Iggy...When will you decide?" Alfred asked, sitting next to Arthur on the couch. Arthur shrugged, and leaned his head on his friend's chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. It wasn't long before Arthur was asleep, and Alfred watched Riley come back down.
"You okay?" He asked her, rubbing small circles on Arthur's back.

I felt an envy burn behind my cheeks as I saw Arthur collapsed in Aflred's arms That should be me... I thought sourly, but I brushed the feeling aside and shrugged, shaking my head "No. I think I was in shock, I had to throw up." I muttered, walking over to them and sitting on the floor agian, my back resting agianst the couch "I hope he picks you..." I blurted, feeling a little awkward.

Alfred looked up, blinking in confusion.
"But- Why? He loves you more." Alfred pointed out, suddenly chuckling.
"Hey, c'mere. It you rub his back, he purrs. It's hilarious!!" He exclaimed, showing an example of how Arthur quivered when Alfred rubbed another circle on his back. Alfred pulled Arthur over and then made room for Riley on the couch, so that Arthur was between them.
"We could compare ourselves to two kids fighting over who gets to hold a puppy," Alfred randomly said.
