Cedar didn't move, or flintch, or wake up. or anything, can't hear him breathing, nor he was breathing. Dater was right, Cedar was dead.

Koak ran out with Artemisa and stopped behind her, almost sliding into her. He looked at Cedar, who was dead, and was right away in shock, "Rain.... w-what about your new family?"
