From this past Saturday. I did have to edit the colors, so it may look kinda strange. My camera seems to love to makes things have an orange hue to them in bad lighting, and this one had it majorly. It looked like a sun setting on a dark sky. Supermoon. This was taken around 10:00PM. I know I was an hour early, be we had just gotten home, and it was cold outside.

lol Thanks guys. And Mighty, I looooooooooooove that moon shot! I get a kick out of people naming things I happen to bring up either in conversation or posts. So lessee...-Elizavta_Davinci- is calling an imaginary pet bullet ant (since I put her onto them in a conversation in the shoutbox one night, as a large Central American ant species with what is widely considered THE most painful sting of any ant, and most other insects actually) "Harmless", and now Mighty names a dying jellyfish "Squishy". Too crazy!

xD Well, that quote comes from Finding Nemo. But I now officially name the jelly Squishy. And thanks! I was glad that I was able to get a photo of it. As you can see it was cloudy, but it cleared up shortly after the sun set. Anyway, sorry about the quality of the photo, my camera ended up on the worst possible setting for quality (I corrected that). Ozzy, border collie mix. He has already been adopted, so he will be going to his new home soon.

He is a beautiful dog, and very well behaved and trained. His other eye is actually brown, I just wasn't able to get him to look at me long enough to photograph him. I'll steal the picture from the Facebook page.

A few new pics to titillate... 1. This, actually, is another shot from the previous set, showing a flowering tree growing wild in a patch of woods near where I live. And being beautifully highlighted by the sun. 2. Saw a snail on the property yesterday... 3. ...and took this extra photo to give some comparison of size. That's a U.S. quarter (-dollar), in case anyone's interested. Big snail! Don't usually see 'em this big on land. Not in my area... 4. Detail of some seed pods (or something) on a tree on the property...always struck me as rather interesting. Tried finding a good angle to photograph the stuff. Not sure I managed it or not. 5. And the tree that previous shot is from... 6. A cardinal's nest, w/three brown-speckled eggs. I know this is a cardinal's nest because I saw mom in there repeatedly...she spooked every time I happened by. Her and her mate's fault, though. lol They built the nest in a holly bush right up against the house. I've made sure not to pass by too much, to give her a break (and so she won't abandon the nest), but she makes quite the protest, after dashing off, whenever I do. But I had to snap a picture of the nest while I could! Happily, she's still tending. Silly bird.
