Aleu blushed, looking down at the little pups nuzzling her.


"Probably." Tai said truthfully, shrugging. She looked rather nervous at the thought.

Belladonna answered, looking surprised. "Oh, Aniu. What's up?' she asked, cockign an eyebrow.

Denali smiled. "Sister, I no know why pack mean to sister, sister so nice."

Cachen looked to his mother. "Do you think everything will work out?"

"The Amarok has escaped his prison," said Aniu.

Sakak was at the door in a moment. "The Amarok escaped?!" he asked, the normally easy going mischief spirit now dead serious. "How did he get out? Normally I'd say sealing a spirit away is bad, but that monster is a different matter," he said, refrencing his old imprisonment.

"They're scared." Aleu said, seeming to understand her pack's feelings. "But I'm still leader, and so I'll make them see that I can fix things. Not to mention to clear my name."

Katie looked into Cachen's face, and smiled. "There is no doubt in my mind. We have faced so much, that this is going to come out alright in the end."

Belladonna looked confused, looking from Aniu to Pakak. "Okay, I feel a little out of the loop here. Who is this Amarok guy?"

Denali nuzzled her big sister lovingly. "We help sister. Sister no be worry, we help!"

Kenai nodded, wagging his tail. "We help! We help!"

Cachen nodded. "We're heroes, right?"

"The Amarok is an ancient spirit that knows only death and destruction," said Sakak, actually scared of it. "It destroys everything in its path with no reguard for anything. It's a merciless beast that will kill anything it sees without remorse. I agree with it being sealed away if that's any inclination," he said, Belladonna knowing full well how Sakak normally felt about someone being sealed up, cosnidering he himself had risked that fate.

Blaze nodded, nuzzling up against Aleu. "We help sister!" she said happily. Derbin nodded in agreement and nuzzled Aleu, too.

Aleu laughed softly. "I guess I'm lucky to have such helpful little brothers and sisters."

Katie nodded, leaning against Kodi as he supported her. "Its in our blood to be heroes." she said, nuzzling Cachen.

Belladonna was shocked. She of course knew of Sakak's imprisonment, and knew if he was talking about locking the Amarok up, it was serious. She gulped. "Well, that is bad." shecyurned to Aniu. "Do you need our help or something?"

Balto suddenly stopped and sniffed the air, then grimioused. "You guys small that?" he asked. Something smelled strong, almost like rotten meat and dried blood mixed with the smell of fur that had gotten mold and stuff in it, like an old fur that hadn't been watched in a very long time.

Lena sniffed along with Cachen and gagged. "Yuck! What is that?!" she asked, putting a paw over her nose along with Cachen. "PU!"

Balto looked to Jenna. The only time they'd ever smelled something like that was the Outsider, but this was different. The fur smell was different. "Aleu...is that the Amarok?"

OOC: It is.

"We were hoping since Sakak was an Inuit Spirit, he'd know what to do," said Aniu.

"I can help," said Sakak. "But not much, the Amarok is very powerful, as its a primordial spirit just like me," he said. "But I can give you something that can offer you some protection," he said. "Belladonna, please go get that Dog amulet from the box in caboard, I can't touch it or I'd get it myself. Make absolutely sure to only touch it with your angel paw, not the devil one...in fact, please just get the whole box, to face the Amarok, we'll need powerful magic."

Aleu nudged the pups back to Jenna, looking worried. She looked at Katie. "I think a second opinion would benefit."

Katie looked frightened. "Its said The Amarok smells like dead earth and blood, and smells like death itself. In other words,"

"Its him." Aleu said, her hackles raising.

Goldie buried her face into Cachen's fur. "Ugh, that smell..."

Tai and Kai were holding their muzzles, trying to get the scent from their noses.

Belladonna nodded, and quickly set off. She can back fast, knowing the severity of the situation. There was a box tucked into her angel paw and her wing, looking grim and serious. "Got it."

"Eww! It stinky!" said Denali, covering her nose along with Kenai.

"Momma..." said Cachen, looking sick. Not only was the smell sickening on its own, the smell of blood was even worse for the hemophobic pup than normal.

Balto was worried for Cachen, but knew Katie would care for him. "But the Amarok sleeps during the day, that means even though we're close to it, it's sleeping right now."

Aniu nodded. "Alright, let's go," she said, vanishing into snow and ice as Sakak vanished into smoke.

Jenna nodded, watching her pups covr their noses. "I know."


Katie nuzzled Cachen. "Its okay, baby. Just stay close to me, just think about my scent." she said with a voice full of concern. She knew how her son got around blood. Even the scent of it.

Aleu nodded to Balto, jaw rigid. "Right. We have to ge past him and stay quiet."

Belladonna sighed. "Showoffs." she muttered, before wrapping her wings around herself and dissapearing.

Goldie nuzzled against Cachen protectively, worried. "Me and your Momma are right here, it's okay."

Katie nodded in agreement, nuzzling her son. Kodi stayed close to his mate.

Jenna nodded, keeping her pups under her, to keep them safe. "Well... Let's just say all bad guys smell bad, alright?" she said, unable to tell them that he smelled of flesh and blood because he killed everything in his path.

Katie looked at Cachen, and nodded. "Im sure he can. He is a spirit after all." she looked up at Balto, nodding. "I really do hope they come soon."

Jenna nodded, nudging Blaze back under her body with a paw. "He is very bad."

"Call us and we come." Belladonna joked, appearing next to Sakak.

Katie jumped a moment, but smiled in relief. "Oh, thank goodness." she said, looking like a weight had been put off her shoulders.
