"Alright. Here, take this," Fern said, handing him the box before fiddling with the clasp on the necklace and putting it around her neck. "How do I look?" she asked with a smile.

Tommy took the box and said while returning her smile when she had the necklace around her neck "It looks beautiful on you sis. I have good taste if I do say so myself."

Tommy chuckled lightly and said "You guess so. That's funny." He walked to a chair and sat on it while keeping his gaze on Fern. He said "I can't wait until you get married one of these days. You're man will be very lucky to have you marry him. You're wedding day will be perfect and I'll make sure of it sis. You deserve no less than perfect."

"Um, I don't really know," Fern said with a shrug. "I've got a ton of homework I should get to, though."

"What don't I have homework in," Fern said with a roll of her eyes. "We've been in school for one day, and already I have papers and projects piled up."

Tommy looked worried for his little sister and asked "Why? What's wrong? What happened at school today?"

Tommy raised one of his eyebrows and asked questioningly "Imagination and paranoia? What do you mean? You can tell me Fern. I won't think you're crazy no matter what. I'm you're older brother and I love you. Please. Tell me what's bothering you."

Fern sighed, finally saying, "It's just this guy at school. It's nothing to worry about, I swear."
