"Tell him?!" Lexie yelped, a panicked look entering her brown eyes. "Listen, I know you trust him, but I just met him! And if we tell him, it might put him in danger too," she rationalized, trying to find a way out of this. To live with a secret for basically your whole life makes it hard to give it up...ecspecially when the secret had landed you in labratories more than once.

Alice shrunk back, her ears back tightly against her head. "He..He wouldn't hurt us, or betray me, if anything he'd be happy." She looked up at Dr. Smithers "And maybe a little freaked but who wouldn't? But if we want to use him for the future then we should tell him, so he knows what he is working with." She shook her head and sighed a little "Just...we'll let Dean decide on this." Her stomach cringed and her head throbbed, she just wanted the bright lights and blood to go away.

Dean whimpered silently. He wasn't sure what to do. He knew, though, that if this doctor was to ever fix them all the right way, they'd have to tell the truth. Dean nodded. "I'm not entirely sure about this... but you trust him enough... and we trust you..." he trailed off then nodded once more. He looked towards Dr. Smithers and back to Alice. "Go ahead."

If Alice chose to transform in order to tell Dr. Smithers, Dean would make sure to follow just to prove her point. After all, if she really did trust this man, then he and the others should have her back on this.

Alice shakily got up and tugged on Dr. Smithers' pant leg, he turned around and chuckled, but instantly saw her mood had changed into what looked like fear. "Girl, whats wrong?" He asked, but before he could say anything else a young girl was standing infront of him. Alice went as fast as she could to lock the doors so he couldn't get out. "I've been wanting to tell you for awhile but I was scared, but my friends and I need your help and.." Patrick Smithers fell into his chair, cupping his hands, trying to hide his tears. "I-You..you were so young and living, on the-oh god why didn't you just go ahead and tell me?" Alice was taken back by his response, shouldn't he be scared? "So you aren't scared of me?" His crying turned into laughing as he removed hsi face from his hands "Scared of you? I've known you since you were like, five? But what is your name.. just tell me that." A few tears trickled down her face and dribbled on her chin. "A-Alice, my name is Alice, but please, help my pack." He nodded and began to go back to work. "So everyone in here is a human, like you, with pasts and names and- I can't believe this." He muttered as he finished Dean's last set of stitches. "This is a secret, or else I would have to, you know." Alice whispered the last part, then turned to Dane, holding out her hand for him to grab, in human form.

Lexie hesitantly followed Alice's lead, though she wished she didn't have to. Soon, another human was standing with the first. She held out her hand tentatively to Dr. Smithers, a faint smile accompanying the action. "I'm Lexie," she said, surprised to find she didn't stutter. She felt a small hand slip into her's, and knew it had to be Cara. A pain in her arm struck her suddenly, and she held back a gasp of surprise. She had been so relieved, and then so tense, that she hadn't noticed a long, deep laceration in her own arm.

She hastily pulled it away from Dr. Smithers; she wasn't sure how he'd react to that being held out to him. She tried to wipe off most of the blood on her shirt, but mainly succeeded in smearing it around. She winced as the fabric caught on the edges of her ripped skin; that cut would need stitches for sure. "When you've finished with everyone else, I think I m-might need stitches." She winced at that slight stutter.

At about the same time that Lexie and Cara did, Dean morphed. Now that the stitches were done, he felt so much better he couldn't even express it. His canine form turned to that of a blond haired teen with some of the lightest eyes you'd ever witness. "Thanks..." he trailed off. "For that." He was finally able to continue. "So.. yeah. We're all like this. I trust you'll keep our secret? If not for us, then for Alice?" His eyes turned their attention at the doctor as a bit of a long silence went by. "Cause, if you don't then this," he gestured to his once cut open chest and then to all the others in the gang, "will happen, a lot." He looked up at the ceiling as if trying to remember one more thing he was supposed to say. "Oh, yeah. I'm Dean by the way." He held out his hand to shake the doctor's, but quickly retracted it once he saw Lexie's cut. He walked towards her with a look of worry. "Lexie are you alright?" he asked with concern. "Does anyone have any objections to having the Doc fix her up after Allison?" He looked around at the others. While waiting for an answer, he picked up Allison, feeling a lot of his strength coming back to him (not all at once though since he still had to regain all of the blood back). After putting her on the table, gently, he turned back to the others once more, eyes intent on their answers.

(No worryes hunter the wolf im just trying to think of away to come into to this in the moment ^^)

Dr. Smithers nodded thoughtfully "But of course, I would never tell on her, or you." He began working on Allison as he listened to Dean speaking to him. "I'll fix Lexie yes, even if someone did have a problem with it, that cut could be fatal in the next hour or so and I need to stitch it up-" He watched as she wipped the blood on her dirty shirt. "Oh no no no, for now just wrap it in that gauze, do not mess with it." Infections would be prone to the girl's arm if she continued to wipe it on that filthy shirt.

Alice nodded to Dr. Smithers, her nod resembling his, as if they were family. "I-I don't mind, but thank you." Her eyes were calm now, her hands un trembling. She watched as he quickley spun stitches into Allison, with care of a butterfly. "You guys are related right?" She heard him ask without looking up "No, my family is..gone. And none of us are related here anyways, just really close." She tried to explained, but looked to Dean to see if she had done it right. "Who is the leader, or Alpha, or do you guys not have that?" All the questions made her head swim but he had the right to ask, she had kept this from him for so long. "Dean." She answered, Dr. Smithers putting Allison gently on the ground then picking up Lexie and beginning work on her. Alice suddenly looked over to Dean "So, what next, after we leave here?" Her eyes had a little worry reflecting in them.

Dean nodded a bit indecisively. He never planned to be the alpha, but apparently he had been made so by his friends. "Uh... I guess I am," he said, then nodded towards Alice as if to say You're doing awesome! Just don't worry about it. He then winked. "Uh... where to next?" He paused. "Alice, wherever you want to go is okay with me. If you want to stay here for a while, it's fine. I'd understand. And I'm sure the others would to." He gave her a comforting smile.

Cara quickly grabbed a roll of gauze, handing it to her sister.

"Thanks," Lexie muttered, wrapping the bandages around the cut. The thought of stitches made her heart flutter anxiously, but she didn't show her nervousness. It had to be done, no matter how badly she hated needles.

Dr. Patrick Smithers


Alice giggled like a little girl, her eyes twinkling as she hugged Dean, but she was careful to not hurt his stitches. "Well, if Dr. Smithers doesn't mind..we can stay at his farm." He smiled at the thought "But only for a few nights, I don't really have that much money, then after that you guys have to scat." He pictured Alice curled up on his large leather chair as a young girl, and his face lit up, but he didn't know about her friends yet so he could'nt let them stay for too long. "Sound good to you guys? We can always get a hotel if you don't want to stay on the farm." She looked back to the time she had slept in the barn, and once in his house when her leg was broken. She remembered the four horses that lived in the barn and the few chickens, she just hoped that the pack could contain themselves from eating them.

Dean tried to embrace Alice back, and succeeded for the most part. He smiled back and her and then said, "Yeah that sounds like a good idea." His gaze flicked back to the doctor. "We can stay in the farm. And don't worry.. Smithers is it? Yeah. Don't worry, we'll be in and out in no time. We won't cause any trouble, we promise." His gaze then turned on yet another sight. He noticed from the corner of his eyes that Lexie was applying gauze to her arm. "Are you alright now, Lexie?" He asked, concern tainting the question.

Lexie, surprisingly, had been momentarily spacing out. She shook her head, blinking in surprise. Her gaze fell back to her arm. The blood would seep through the sterile bandage soon.

She smiled faintly in his direction. "Oh. Yeah, I'm fine," she said, her cheeks flushing at her mental lapse. "Just fine," she repeated, more convincingly this time.
