David just laid there on the ground, not even trying to save his own life. His last words before he slipped into unconsciousness were "I LOVE YOU MORE THAN EVERYTHING ELSE IN THIS WORLD TEMPLE AND I'M SORRY FOR EVER WRONGING YOU."

The humans came and got both of the canines out of the ring and back into their kennels. Before the humans put David in his kennel, they beat him until they drew blood again. They shoved him in his kennel and laughed at him. They said "Stupid wolf. You are back in your kennel now because you lost to a she-dog." David whimpered but the humans didn't care. They picked up his kennel and left. The other humans picked up Temple's kennel and put her in a building with other dogs.
When a male dog heard the door open and close, he looked at Temple and yelled "Look. We got another one. It looks like she beat that horrible wolf with not even a scratch. She must be a goddess or something!!!!!!!!!"

Temple looked at the he-dogs. "Yes, I did. He didn't dare claw me." she said.

The he-dog smirked and said "Why wouldn't he? Everyone that has faced him has died or gotten maimed by him, even she-dogs like yourself. Why wouldn't he attack you?"

Temple shrugged. "He just never stood a chance."

Another she-dog came in and said "Stop lying to these dogs. We both know the truth. I seen the whole thing. I can't believe you would use someone like that. You are a pathetic female who gets whatever she wants and makes everyone miserable if she can help it."

Temple snapped, "I didn't use him, okay?! He made his own choice." she said and face away from the she-dog.

The she-dog sighed and said "Yes he did. Do you actually know what his choice was?"

The she-dog smiled warmly and asked sympathetically "Do you want to know?"

The she-dog smiled sadly and said even sadder "His choice wasn't me. It wasn't his sister. It has been for a long time but his choice now is you. It has been ever since he met you but he didn't realize it until you got captured by the humans. He loves you. Do you actually know what that means?"

The she-dog said "Are you sure about that?"
