Calypso fell to the ground with a sickening thud. "Go ahead and take my friends. If that won't hurt them. But do what you want to me. Because I'd never follow you! You're sick and I never want to have to listen to you! Go ahead and kill me if you want!" she said, her anger beginning to kick in. But more, instead of anger, it was braveness. The will to be able to stand up for more than just herself no matter what it took was coursing through her body.

"I'll tell ya what. You've got guts kid and I like that. I still won't let you go or anything but maybe if you comply right now I won't punish you." Skylark said with a little bit more respect for Calypso because of her acts of bravery.

Calypso growled slightly. "When I said I wouldn't follow you, I meant it!"

"Fine you and all your little buddies are dead than. They can all thank you for that. It was your choice and you turned it down multiple times. It's your choice not mine. Have fun in heaven." skylark said grabbing hold of calypso and pinning her to the ground.

Calypso struggled for breath as she hit the ground, hard. "I said my friends would join, but I refuse! If you kill me, you don't kill them!"

"And why do you want to die?" Skylark asked pretty confused with the whole situation. He even offered her a normal life in his pack but she refused.

Calypso replied, "I told you already. I'd never join your pack!"

"And why would you not want to? All of your little friends will. Unless they want to die as well. If they join and you don't how do you think they will feel not having their little Calypso around. If you choose the other route, the one to death, you will be comitting suicide. Are you really that selfish?"

Calypso sighed. "I'm not selfish. I just... I just don't want you as my leader. And being the quiet one of the group, I'm sure I'd be the least missed..." she frowned.

"Quiet? You quiet? You are far from being quiet. Small? Yes. Quiet? No." Skylark said wanting her in his pack. "Listen with your personality you will do just fine and wouldn't your friends want you to be successful?"

Calypso replied,"You don't know my quiet side. Becuase all you've done since I met you is turn on my anger or fear."

"I know you aren't afraid to speak out though. You might be quiet when not much is going on. But just then I put you through the test and you passed. Most stay quiet and just cower. You were different. You are a special one. You can go off to do great things."

As Skylark kept speaking, Calypso realized this leader didn't even have the guts to kill her. He just kept droning on and on and on, trying to change her mind. Somehow, she managed to get up and throw the leader off her neck. "Well, seing as you're too weak to kill me, I don't think I really have a choice."

"I can easily have killed you. The reason why I didn't I realized I wanted you to be a part of our pack. If you want to be killed and not have your friends and have them mope around then so be it I'll kill you."

Calypso laughed, her hard core bravery kicking in. "You think you even have a chance of killing me? Good luck!" she jumped up into a tree. "So are we gonna go to your puny pack or what?"
