"You are incredibly lucky. You do know that?" Rusty said panting heavily after what he just went through.

Wuffrith nodded her head and said "I know Rusty but I had no choice. I am faster then you and if it was you out there then it would have hurt you and possibly have killed you too. And if you died then I wouldn't live to see another day. I won't live without you. I CAN'T live without you, Rusty. I wouldn't know how to."

"What's happened has happened and luckily we are both still here no worse for wear. I say we head on back. Hopefully there aren't any more of those creatures around." Rusty said still panting heavily from the whole situation.

Wuffrith shook her head and said "I don't know where you're going Rusty and I hope you come with me but I'm going after the pack. I won't leave them to their fate with those creatures after them." Wuffrith rose her nose, pointing to the air, and sniffed. She said "Yeah, I know for certain that they aren't here and I'm going after them."

"I ment to go back to the pack. I mean they need us. Do you think they're around our pack or another?" Rusty asked worriedly.

Wuffrith said "I think their chasing our pack because our pack isn't here. I'm certain now. My father wouldn't allow the pack to stay here if there are more of it's kind threatening the pack. It would put the pack in to much danger. Let's go to the alpha den and see if my parents are there. IF my parents are still here then we know that the pack's still here. So, let's go to the alpha den and see if we can't find my parents."

"Hopefully there aren't anymore. First I want to find the pack and then we go from there. Hopefully they can't find our pack and get frustrated and leave us alone." Rusty said to Wulffrith.

Wuffrith nodded her head in agreement and said "I agree, Rusty. We meed to find the pack first. So, let's go to the alpha den. Do you know where it is from here, Rusty? I know this is pack land but I don't know where the den is from here."

"I think I do but I'm not fully sure. I haven't really ventured off like this before." Rusty said to her trying to get his sense of direction back.

Wuffrith smiled and looked around while saying "The same goes for me also. My parents wouldn't let me leave their sight very often but when I got the chance to be alone with someone it always was you. When did you start loving me, Rusty? I've been dying to ask you that question."

"Uhh... Honestly I can't quite pin point an exact time. I mean, I think I realized after a while we were ment to be mates after a while. I guess that is when I realized we both loved each other." Rusty said still unsure on what else to add to that.

Wuffrith nodded her head and said "So, when you were still young then? I started loving you when we were still pups but I didn't know what that emotion was until a little while after and that was when you started seeing me almost everyday."

"I guess it's the same for me. I mean when we were young I didn't quite know what love was. But I do now and I'm with the one I love." Rusty said to her.

Wuffrith nodded and said lovingly "It's very good to hear that, Rusty. Look! There's the den." She pointed her paw to where the alpha's den was located at.

"So should we just walk in or should we wait for them to come in" Rusty said not knowing what to do.
