The hill got steeper and steeper. Rusty was having a hard time climing the hill. He tripped and yelped a little bit.

Endom looked over his shoulder down at Rusty. "You need some help?"

"I'm good" Rusty picked himself up off the floor, "Stupid loose soil," Rusty said lightly punching the ground.

"We're almost at the top." Endom said, pulling himself up on a solid hill side.

Rusty used all of his power to make his way up the inclining hill. "Man this is getting steep." Rusty said looking up to the top which is probably 20 feet away.

"I think we can go around now." Endom said, pointing at a slightly narrow path to his right.

Rusty paused for a brief second taking in the stunning view, "Beautiful, isn't it?" he sat down to rest a littl bit.

Endom nodded. "Very." He decided now would be the time to finally finish the poem Loveless.
"When the war of the beasts brings about the world’s end The goddess descends from the sky Wings of light and dark spread afar She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting
Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess We seek it thus, and take into the sky Ripples form on the water’s surface The wandering soul knows no rest.
There is no hate, only joy For you are beloved by the goddess Hero of the dawn, Healer of worlds
Dreams of the morrow hath the shattered soul Pride is lost Wings stripped away, the end is nigh
My friend, do you fly away now? To a world that abhors you and I? All that awaits you is a somber morrow No matter where the winds may blow
My friend, your desire Is the bringer of life, the gift of the goddess
Even if the morrow is barren of promises Nothing shall forestall my return
My friend, the fates are cruel There are no dreams, no honor remains The arrow has left the bow of the goddess
My soul, corrupted by vengeance Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey In my own salvation And your eternal slumber
Legend shall speak Of sacrifice at world’s end The wind sails over the water’s surface Quietly, but surely
Even if the morrow is barren of promises Nothing shall forestall my return To become the dew that quenches the land To spare the sands, the seas, the skies I offer thee this silent sacrifice."
He actually said it with a bit more emotion then he did before.

Rusty was completely blown away by Endom's singing voice, I've heard him sing before but never like that Rusty thought to himself, "Man you are a good singer."

"You say that a lot." Endom said, grinning. "Would probably be more useful if I knew more then one song."

"Even better try and write your own songs, I don't think we will be getting back to our pack any time soon." Rusty sighed he really missed some of his pack members.

"Maybe I will... Have we rested enough?" He asked, looking at the path to their right again.

Rusty looked over towards the path and looked back at Endom, "I guess so." Rusty sighed and got up, "Shall we" he motioned towards the natural path.

Endom nodded and started walking down the path, noticing it followed the side of the hill upwards as they went.
