John got out of the truck, and walked inside.

"Let's check her in. I don't know if they will believe us that she is actually a human." Kalen said.

Jet saw that the truck had stopped, but he stayed where he was.

Dani nodded and followed John and Kalen inside.

James wanted to get out, so he jumped out, and wandered inside behind them.

"Hey, we have a injured wolf here." John said to the person there.

The desk lady just raised an eyebrow. "A wolf? What are you three doing with a wolf? You don't look like zoo keepers," she said.

Kristen groaned, still inside the truck. It was beginning to get hot and she was sweating with all of her fur. It took all of her strength. but she finally managed to sit up. Trying to ignore the pain, she forced herself to stand. She slowly looked around the truck and spotted an open door. She climbed over the seats carefully and managed to step out of the car. She walked inside the building weak, but able to stand.

"We found her in the forest, and she is very weak." Kalen said.

"Yeah." John said, seeing her walk in, and avoiding the fact she was human before.

Kristen whimpered as the pain seared in her chest.

"Alright, I'll let your story fly for now..." the desk lady said. She pressed a button and paged a random vet. "You'll be seeing Dr. Grayson. Just walk down that hall and take a left," she said.

"Okay." John said, when he said that, he flashed from human to wolf and back to human and he didn't notice.

"Woah." Kalen said.

Kristen whispered in wolf voice, hoping John would understand since they could talk to animals. "John, you're flickering back to wolf form. What's happening?" she asked as she followed the group slowly. Soon enough, they were in a room with vet equipment. And sitting down, they saw Dr. Grayson.

He heard what Kristen said.

"I am? I haven't been noticing." John said back in his wolf voice too, he could still speak in it, even though he was human.

Kalen was confused, John was barking at kristen.

"Hey, who has the problem? There are 2 wolves in here." Dr. Grayson said to them.

Dani sighed as she realized there was much more to this than she thought. "Well you see Dr. Grayson, these two are both human." She pointed to John and Kristen. "Somehow they turned into wolves though, and the female, Kristen, got hurt pretty badly by hunters. We're not sure how John transformed back into a human, but we need help for Kristen right away."

Kristen panted as she began to wheeze. The bullet was moving, getting closer to her heart. She looked around the room and saw needles, scalpels, and a lot of other pointy things. Her eyes widened. She began to look back at the door. She bolted for it. "Hopefully no one will close it!" she said, forgetting that John could understand her.

John came up and closed the door, before Kristen escaped.

"Hey, Kristen, If you escape, you will die. So please don't. I don't want my sister to die." John said, again in wolf voice, so the others couldn't understand.

"She was a human? How is that possible? And did he just talk like a dog?" the doctor asked, confused.

"But all those needles..." she whimpered. She wasn't sure whether her words were coming out in a wolf voice or in english. But although she didn't know, her voice was in pure english.

"Wha? Did she just talk? I am now getting freaked out." The doctor said.

"See? She has formerly been a human." Kalen said. "Like John here."

Kristen shook her head, forgetting the needles. "No, please! Don't freak out! I need your help or I'll die!"

Dani nodded. "She's right," she said.

"Okay, let me look at her." The doctor said.

He looked at the bullet hole, and sees where the bullet is.

"The bullet is almost to the heart, I do have the tools to get it out though." He said.

"Really? Will she live?" John asked.

"She should yes. But What I see, her anatomy isn't normal, I can't actually tell much with just a small hole, but it sure isn't like the other wolves or dogs I have worked on." He said.

"Yeah, because she is my sister, so she has been human." John said.
