"Yes, your grace." Archie said politely before dragging the log -and Ryan- towards the river. He finally reaches the banks of the water and is about to push him in, when a voice yells something behind them.

"Stop! Hold it!" Rayna yelled as she halted Rose and jumped off. She ran at top speed towards Archibauld and tries to push him in the water, but Rayna wasn't as strong as him. "Don't you dare!" she screamed in his face as she tried to kick him and punch him.

'Rayna, don't" Ryan said, struggling with his bonds again, wanting to run to her and help her get away. How coudl she risk herself for him?

King Bob satred at Rayna, hos precious daughter, then leapt at her. "Rayna, he's brainwashed you! He kidnapped you, come to the castle, you'll be safe there," he pleaded, grabbing his daughter's arm, prepared to drag her home.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Sun Dec 27, 2009 9:30 pm

"No Dad!" Pleaded Rayna, pulling against her father's grip. "I wasn't kidnapped!"

"Yes she was!" Archie argued. "Rayan here has been feeding her lies and making her loyal to him! Do not give in, my liege!"

Windancer · **Posted:** Sun Dec 27, 2009 9:34 pm

Ooc:// Rayan?

"You Majesty, Archie here is lying. He attacked us for no reason because he wanted Rayna, so we ran away. THen all of this happened," he said, praying that the king would beleive him

King Bob was torn, but his grip on his daughter's arm remained firm. He saw the truth in Ryan's eyes, but he saw truth also in Archie's eye, but was there another secret lurking in the icy eyes of Archie? "WEre there any witnesses?" he asked.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Sun Dec 27, 2009 9:40 pm

Ooc:// Sorry! Typo.

Archie shot Ryan a glare, then turned his gaze back to the King. "No, we were alone. But a kidnapper wouldn't want any witnesses around! So there you go!"

Rayna looked at her father and boldly stated, "Archibauld's a liar!" with a hint of a growl in her tone.

"ANd there was a witness! Mariah Jenson!" he cried, not mentioning this was his mother.

King BOb gestured to a soldier. "Send for this Mariah," he ordered. "Rayna, are you sure?" he asked, truning to his daughter, loosening his hold on her.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Sun Dec 27, 2009 9:50 pm

"Yes I'm sure!" she assured. "Archibauld just wants the power that he'll get if he marries me! I'll bet he'll abuse me if we did!"

Archie panted and felt the sweat coming through his hair. "No!" screamed Archie as he stomped the ground in anger. "This scum kidnapped her and held her hostage! I know it!"

Windancer · **Posted:** Sun Dec 27, 2009 9:53 pm

"We don't know that for sure," King Bob said. He gestured for another soldier. "Hold him."

the soldier nodded and held Archie's arms behind his back tightly.

Ryan struggled with the ropes again, still to close to the lake for his liking. "Can someone please untie me?" he asked.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Sun Dec 27, 2009 10:10 pm

Before anyone came to untie Ryan, Archie lashed out his leg and kicked the log into the water, splashing liquid on Archie's grinning face.

"NOOO!" screamed Rayna as she pulled out of her father's grip and dove into the river after him.

Ryan disappeared in the water, struggling against his bonds, trying to reach the surface. His air left his mouth and lungs in a few bubbles as he lashed out uselessly, tied to tightly.

King Bob watched in horror as the boy's head disappeard, his daughter after him. "Put him in the prison until I execute him!" he said, and the soldier dragged Archie away.

The log was sinking faster than Rayna could swim, but she wasn't giving up that easily. As she went deeper, the water pressure closed in on her. She did one last attempt at reaching for Ryan, and she felt the rope. She yanked, but the log's weight pulled her down. She jiggled the rope's knot as hard as she could, and it felt loose. She had untied the knot.

Ryan grabbed Rayna's hand, swimming up, hoping that he could reach the surface before his air ran out. Just as he felt as if he were about to drown, he broke the surface, along with the sodden Rayna.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Sun Dec 27, 2009 10:24 pm

Rayna gulped in as much air as she could when she hit the surface. She knew Ryan had pulled her up, saving both his own and her life. She scrambled for the banks and crawled onto land, helping Ryan up.

Ooc:// Are you going to post on our other RP?

Bic://

Ryan gasped, taking in huge breaths, his hair dripping. "THanks Rayna," he managed to say.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Sun Dec 27, 2009 10:33 pm

Ooc:// Yeah, but after that, I'm going to be logging off.

Rayna smiled at him and shook her head. "No problem." she said though deep breaths.

Archie stared in anger. More like raging fury. "He... She..." he muttered, not being able to think of something to say. His extended finger shook like a leaf before King Bob.
