Katie took a deep breath. "And that's the end, so far..." she said, looking at the four pups.
Tai looked at both her parents. "Stowy looong!" she groaned.
Balto nodded, secure in the knowledge nothing would happen.

Cachen nodded. "But fun! I like stowy!"
Tina nodded. "Well anyway, not much I can do about it, I may be highly intellgent and all, but I'm not smart enough to invent timetravel." she said. "Besides, you're my hero Balto, I already said that, I don't think I'd have made it through everything those monsters put me through if it weren't for your stories...including quite a few that haven't happened yet..."

Katie giggled, and nuzzled her pups. "That's good." she said, tail wagging.
Balto seemed a bit prouder to be Tina's hero, after telling of her pain and torment. It seemed like he was inspriational no matter what! He smiled. "It's a good thing to hear you say that. I'm glad I've done so much for you." he said with a smile.

"No one knows." Katie said with a light shrug, and gently rolled Lena onto her back with a push of her nose into the red-furred tummy. "Now, hold still." she ordered sweetly, and starting gromming her pup.
Balto smirked. Heroism was a passable trait? Oh, well, it was already apparent in all of his first litter.

Lena laughed at this.
Tina nodded. "Yeah, it seems that way...but there's one other thing..." she said, looking down. "You remember how Aleu said she saw into that bear's mind?"
Jenna nodded. "Balto told me about that, yes."
"It's called telepathy," explained Tina. "It's a mental ability communicate through thought, reading minds or talking." she explained. "Well...I was altered to be telepathic with that thing, we're linked, the plan they wanted was for me to lead it into enemy bases, which I hate the idea of." she explained. "I can stop it from hearing my thoughts...but I can't do the opposite...I heard its every psychoatic thought, saw all the horrible things it did..." she said, tears starting down her face. "That thing's mind is so twisted it's...well they made it to have no compassion, no morals, no...good in it, it's a killing machine...and if me and it are in the same world togather, I hear and see everything it does and hears its sadistic, horrible thoughts..." she said, tears following freely. "It's like a nightmare you can never wake up from...that's why I'm terrified to return to the future, I'm afraid its still there and I'll be cursed to suffer that again..." she said, sobbing. "I've finally woke up from that nightmare...I don't want to go back to sleep..."

Katie chuckled, continuing to groom her pup, making sure there were no knots and no clumps of dirt.
Balto looked on, helplessly concerned for Tina. He looked at his mate, before reaching out and puttign a paw on his shoulder. "You're safe now, and that's what matters. For now, you're with us, and you let us know if you feel anything like that while you're here."

OOC: Sounds good to me. She Tina be full telepathic? Like able to communicate with the others telepathically?
Lena giggled, watching Kodi start grooming Tai.
Jenna nodded, feeling her heart ache for Tina. She knew their new friend had suffered more than any being should ever be put through. "It's alright, you're safe, and free now."
"Thanks..." said Tina. "But there's something else that hurts...they used my DNA in it to make that connection, it's made up of the genetic material of many animals, mostly reptile, but my DNA is inside that thing...it's a part of me..."

Tai giggled and squirmed, watching Katie bring Cachen close and groom him, too.
Balto's eyes hardened. It seemed so wrong, so sick! "How? Who? I'd even settle for a 'What?'"

Cachen laughed as his mother groomed him, but licked her nose.
Jenna gasped. "Yes, why would they do that to you?"
"In my time, there's a very unpopular war going on." said Tina. "And to replace soldiers on the battlefield, they created the Outsider to be a expendible supersoldier. If one was killed, five could be made to replace it." she said. "But they needed something with a more complex intelligence to lead it, that's where I came in." she said. "But they made it too smart." she said. "And it realized it was a weapon to them, and rebelled." she said. "In truth, I kind of feel sorry for it, it's not it's fault its become this horrible thing, they made it that way..." she said. "Also, I wonder why they even went with that plan, it was tried four times prior and everyone of them ended in a murderious rampage."

Tai laughed as her belly was groomed and squirmed.
Balto shook his head. he knew humans could be cruel, but he never thought that they would ever go that far... "Why don't we take that tag out?" he asked, eyes landing on it. He could grow to hate it if it was stuck to his ear...

Cachen laughed, enjoying it and having a good time being groomed.
Tina nodded. "Please, I can't stand this thing, even we back here it's utterly useless." she said. "Lot's of bad memories, but we need to do it out of sight of Cachen, there would probably be blood.

Katie gave one last lick to Cachen's cheek. "All done, Cachen." she said, finishing Lena quickly. "You're becoming such a big girl, you're not as dirty as you get." she said with a grin.
Tai giggled and licked kodi's nose, shaking her fur free of the dampness.
Balto nodded, looking at his grandchildren. "If I could just take it out without ripping your ear, I would. But I don't have that kind of equipment."

Tai nodded, giggling embarrassedly. "I be good alla time, Papa!" she promised, wagging her little tail happily.
Katie nodded, grinning. "Yes, baby girl. You and your brothers and sister are getting bigger everyday."
Balto looked about, spying a rather large bunch of bushes. "I can tear it out under the brush." he said.
