[color=#BFBF00]Shay watched Shelby cry uncertainly, unsure of what to do in this paticular moment. "It's ok Shelby," she said hesitantly, putting a hand on her. "It's ok," she repeated, then decided to let her vent a little bit. Her voice went husky as she recalled moments from her past, moments she wanted to keep hidden and get rid of. But they couldn't be shaken off. "AS for my past, if you guys really are interested, I guess I could tell, you," she said, her voice soft and a bit ruff./color]

Ryan for once didn't feel uncomfortable at Ian's words. "Thanks, and I'd love to be friends," he sai d==d in a low tone. He turned his head very slowly up towards Shay. "Tell us if you want, if it's too painful you don't have too."

Shelby lifted her head. "thank you shay." she whiped her tears. "You don't have to tell us, thats all up to you.." she said begining to Get up and sit on a chair.

"It's no problem," she said to Shelby. "I really don't want to, but...I kinda have to, if that makes any sense," she said, giving a small smile. Her voice was still husky and soft, and she cleared her throat, trying to clear away the memories that she had to recall in order to tell them. She hesitated before beginning, suddenly nervous about this.

"Thanks," Shay said. She looked down at the ground, her eyes flickering across the slightly dusty floor. "I," after the first word, she hesitated slightly, then resumed the sentence. "I was walking, and my brother was following, I didn't know he was there, he was always sneaking around. My parents were already dead, they had died yesterday." she said, remembering the fire that had almost destroyed her along with her parents, and her other sibling, an older sister. "When I found out, I got angry,, and started yelling at him, I even slapped him, I was still sad, and the last thing I wanted was for him to follow me. THen the vampire jumped out of an alley in front of me, and bared it's fangs. I was shocked, frozen still with fear." she said, recalling the moment vividly. "It bit me first, almost sucking me dry before my brother started to scream. The vampire got up from me, I oculd remeber my brothers cries as he was bitten, but I couldn't move, I could barely saty consius. It left after that, and after the pain faded, I left, not wanting to try and save my brother. I was too scared that it would come back," she said, a sob breaking her voice. "It's my fault he died, I could have saved him, could've distracted the vampire, let him run, but I watched." Sobs finally broke the sentence, and a tear dripped down her face. "Like Shelby, I should have tried to save him, I wish I did," she said, barely audible through the tears that were falling freely.

Ryan looked at Shay with an understanding look. "That almost happened to Alex," he mumbled. "I don't even know where he is or where my family is, so it makes me feel as if they're dead." He looked down then back at Shay. He got up slowly wna walked towards her. When he reached her, he said in an understanding tone, "I'm sorry." He felt weird about all these feelings being revealed, but it slowly got more understanding as he thought about how he suffered. Although not the same type of suffering, all of them suffered just the same. "I never chose this life, and I bet no one else did either," he began, talking to the others, "But I know one thing. We survived for a reason. And even though I don't know the reason why, I know it's true."

Shay wiped away the tears, a little embarrased about crying in front of them. "What do you think that reason is?" she asked, her voice even softer and huskeir than before. She cleared her throat softly, wiping away a last tear, trying hard to bury the memories again. But it seemed the harder she tried, the more they came back. She still felt like crying more, but she didn't want to do it in front of the new coven that had just formed.

Ian had placed a hand on everyone's shoulder before he went into the kitchen and grabbing some blood bags, he gave one to everyone. Sometimes blood could help vampires calm down. He took a seat closer to Ryan, almost afriad that if he got to close to the crying girls they would be uncomfertable with him. "Ryan, i do have to say. Your my first friend after what happened to me." He stared down at his hands "Sometimes I wish i could remember what happened...you know....mabey have some answers to my past." He sighed and tossed his blood bag back into the kitchen before looking back at his hands. "But..sometimes i also think...that mabey I was supposed to forget what happened to me."

Ryan took the blood bag. "Thanks." As Ian began to speak to him, he understood. "Same here. I never thought I'd actualyl feel confortable talking to anyone, or letting my past surface either." he looked at Ian and listened as he talked about forgetting his past. "You know, remembering may bring up some answers, but it brings a lot more pain than answers. It's probably better you didn't remember," he said. His past soon came back to mind, and he squinted his eyes for a moment. "I don't know for sure though. Maybe it might be better if you remembered. Like you said though, maybe there's a reason you don't. They say there's a reason for everything."

Dallas laid the blood bag on the ground not wanting any, she would rather drink it fresh. She decited that nobody would notice if she just went out in the woods for a while, she liked to spend nights in the woods, she found it entairtaining to chase animals and take them down, but not to feed on them. They tasted horrible, nothing compared to human blood. She silently went out the door.

"Door will be open Dallas." Ian called over his shoulder before turning to face Ryan. "I never talked to anyone before about this...i think you really understand it. Thanks." He closed his eyes trying to remember and again only got screams of pain, his pain, and death so close. "What really gets me is that...i don't know if i had any friends or family before this happened. But I got all of you guys now...and espically you." He smiled at him whcich he didn't do often.

"No problem. I know how you feel. Maybe not exactly the same way, but you know. And you probably did have friends and family. Who doesn't? Even I had friends, which looks impossible now." Ryan once again looked at the ground, recalling his friend. How he went to go get help, but was too late. "I wish I could see them again, but the way I am now, I could never face them. I might end up sucking all the blood out of them, and then the guilt would never leave my body again." Ryan kept looking at the ground, squinting his eyes at the feeling of how badly he wished he wasn't a bloodsucking monster. How he wish he could see his friends from when he was human. He then opened his eyes and turned to Ian. "But as much as I want to see them, I can't. But I have new friends now. Friends I'd never be able to harm." Ryan tried to smile, but couldn't.

Ian nodded. "But then how can i have these type of powers? I couldn't have just been human." He moved his hand and it caused a black figure to raise from his own shadow that he casted down on the floor, a wolf dragon type thing formed. Its eyes crimson red, the figure just an outline with very few distinct features. He waved his hand slightly and it seemed to dissapear into thin air. "I just don't get it!" He stood up and shoved his hand in his pockets, his walked into a different room and sat down on a stool, picked up a guitar and stared down at it. He put it on and started to play it, the music low and deppresed, confused, and filled with past pains.
