"Sure thing." Derreck stumbled out of his seat, still exhausted. He followed Josh's emergency doctor and found Josh in a bed, with what looked like a cast.

He grabbed the side raling and stared at Josh. He mumbled most of his words. "He-how-how are you doing Josh?" he asked.

Josh smiled at Derreck and said "Are you okay? How are you?"

"Exhausted and wasted off ice cream. Those things have some sorta pills or something, 'cause I was knocked out after having some." Derreck slipped onto one knee and put his head on the railing. "Now answer my question."

Josh smiled and said "I have felt better before. I am just glad that my Derreck is okay."

Derreck groaned. "Never say it like that. It's sounds.... ackward."

Josh smiled and said "But I imprinted upon you and you are mine. I am not gay but that doesn't mean a thing. I imprinted upon you and I didn't mean to but it happened. It's god's will that made it happen. We are meant to be together."

"If you say it like that..... still. Gross." Derreck muttered and closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep. He shook his head to keep from doing so. "It's..." he looked at a wall clock. "It's 2 in the morning. Do you think, maybe now I can sleep? I passed out on an uncomfortable waiting room chair. I think that proves I'm exhausted. It's a miracle I still talk correctly." He sat in a padded rocking chair and sighed. He turned to Josh's side. "I'll be here, so that you don't complain." Derreck closed his eyes and fell asleep, the way he always did; his mouth open in an "O", his arms stretched out to one side(he looked like he was praying) and snoring, loud as ever.

Josh smiled at Derreck and said "My Derreck." His smile grew lovingly and said dreamily "My Derreck. Even though I am not gay, I still want you and even if you weren't my mate I think I would still want you. I love you." He finally fell asleep and slept peacefully, not snoring or sweting in his sleep. He was just sleeping. It felt so nice after all of this.

Derreck grumbled, hearing his words, but slept peacefully, otherwise.

Derreck blinked and woke with a snore. "Da** sunlight." he grumbled. He rubbed his forehead. "Headaches. I hate headaches." He looked at Josh. He got up quietly and left the room to use the bathroom and get something to eat. He brought back something for Josh and put it on his table for when Josh woke up.

Josh woke up with a yawn and looked over at Derreck. He smiled and said "You're up. So, what are you going to do with me, Derreck?"

"Here, what ever they call breakfest here." he muttered, handing the food to Josh. Derreck sighed. "I don't know what I'll do with you, and I mean that in the way you aren't thinking about. I honestly don't know if I want this, Josh."

Josh smiled and said "I am not sure either and I tried to stay away but the connection is to strong for me to ignore and it always drew me to you. You are my soul mate and everything I ever wanted in a soul mate except for the p***s part. But we can work through that. Can't we?"

"Josh, I don't you heard me. I don't think I can stand that. Taking you to the hospital everytime someone comes near me. What's gonna when I get a girlfriend? I won't be able to split myself in half for both of you."

Josh shook his head and said "Then don't get a girlfriend. I am yours and you are mine. Don't you get that. We, me and you, are soul mates. And I know you would never cheat on me. So, stop worrying about that and accept me. I am your true soul mate, I know. I imprinted and a werewolf only imprints on their soul mate and I imprinted upon you, Derreck."

"Imprinting, soul mate, blah, blah, blah!" Derreck growled. "But I don't just want you in my life!"
