Malka shifted through the brush, the smell of other lions was in the air, he sucked in another breath. Then he spotted them, all together as a pirde, it made his heart skip a beat. He slowly made his way towards them, he took in a deep breath and cleared his throat. "Please don't reject me" He thought to himself as he approched them. "H-Hi" Malka stuttered out.

Shintara sat down watching over everything, her age complextion still in her prime, she went with Jenia to protect her, but now Shintara can't leave, if she left she'd be killed out there, so she's been stuck here, and she loves it, being with her daughter, she smiling, until she saw him, her eyes just locked, she jumped down from her perch and walked to Malka, "YOu want to join huh?" Shintara said, her gaze keeping a serious tone

Malka was frightned slightly by the females sudden apperence and they way she welcomed him. He bared a tiny grin, he gulped. "Sure..." He said softly. Malka's claws gripped th dirt under his paws, "Do I have to do a test or something?" He asked feeling more comfortable, he looked over at the other lions hoping they would be as accepting as this female that stood before him.

Shintara saw the look in his eyes, she sighed, "I'm sorry, it's just that i left the pridelands ever since Jenia wanted to leave with her friends so i choose to go with her, and the reason why i ask why you want to join is that we had someone in the Pridelands, and the next thing we knew betrayal came," she said, was this the same Malka she knew long ago? or was this a different one? she asked herself, "And now i'm a little off, since my other daugther Kaneta didn't come with me, she always wanted to be with me but she decided to stay at the pridelands,"

Malka nodded, as he stared into the females eyes, he felt like he knew her from someplace. He didn't want to think of his past anymore, "My names Mal-- I mean my names Cobra" Malka lied. His gulped, if the female knew he was Malka she might run away he thought to himself. The male looked sadly down at his paws and he sighed then looked up once more.

Matt stayed by Hayumi's side, glaring harshly at the male. 'There's something about him, that's just not right..' Thought Matt, he let out a low growl, being one of the very few males in the pride, it was his duty to help keep the pride safe. His growl soon faded when he realised it was rude and foolish to growl at this stranger. Rude, because he had only just arrived and hadn't been causing trouble, and foolish because this lion could easily wound him, he was bigger and weighed more than a normal male lion. He continued to try and hide his un-ease, but it was quite visible. Finally he turned to Hayumi and whispered in her ear. "There's something about him that's not quite right." He then continued to glare at the stranger. It was a warning glare that could be read as easily as a book. 'Don't try anything flea-bag...'

Hayumi smiled at Matt "He will cause no harm, hes just a lonley rouge." She explained soothingly before going out of the den "I'm going hunting, see you later." She gave him a loving nuzzle before walking off to the scent of Wildabeast.She looked around and sniffed the air once more before racing towards the herd for the kill.She zig-zagged to the front of the heard where the scent of sickness was radiating from a foal.She raced towards him but his heard was protecting him greatly, she growled and took a leap to grab him but she stumbled and fell.Hooves trampled her head and she heard a loud crack as it broke her skull."Help!" She roared, blood flowing into her mouth as she spit it out."I...Love...you..Ma-" She couldn't finish the sentence, it was to painful as they continued to run across her magled body, blood coating it.She could smell her mate's scent one last time before she closd her eyes for the very last time, to never wake up again...
