" Not friends. Aquantances. (sp?) I'm not really sure, seeing as I don't know them really well. What I do know is that there's this guy who's human...." She trailed off, stretching as she layed down. The boy had brought a gun, and she wasn't sure if he had been willing to kill them. She'd smelled regret on the human's scent, but she had acted quickly before Matt could've shrugged it off.

" I just don't get how humans can be like that."

Desss looked at them. "Hope you dont mind if I come along." she said breezily. She walked down to the other rooms, exploring. She soon got bored. She only saw dust, dust, and ripped paintings. She walked back. "So, when do we get going? No offence, but this place is kinda boring."

Samara nodded at the information. " I just don't get humans. They intend to wipe us out because they're just paranoid." She sighed, trying to find something to entertain her. Her tail swiveld around, lashing in no certain direction. Suddenly, ears pricked forward as she strained to hear something.

(Godzillawolf, I'm leaving it up to you about what happens net )

Monolith rose from the ground, looking around, he couldn't see anyone and couldn't sense the creatures unless he was chasing them. Though he could sense Fear, he wasn't close enough. He kneeled, putting one hand on the Earth. "Mother...I am doing my mission well but it doesn't seem I have done enough yet." he said, talking directly to the Earth's spirit. "The war must end, the creatures deserve the right to grow and live." he said. "But so must the humans, if this doesn't work, we'll need to change the Earth to do what is best, destroy the human's civilization and weapons so that war can't be raged as they are the agressors." he said. "I don't know what else I can do." he said. "The humans need to believe their only hope of defeating me is to team with the creatures. If they do not, all the guardian spirits of the Earth must declare war on humanity to destroy their civilization and armies." he said. "I must do that...no matter what the cost." he said. "May the innocent blood to be spilled not be in vain." he said. He then disappeared back into the Earth.

OOC: Thought it'd be good to give the creatures some incite.

Archie blinked. "What was that thing?" he said. "It was talking about the war."

Zara caught the second can and quicky cut it open, pouring the wet, slimy chunks all over her head. She stuck her tongue out in disgust, but rubbed the bits of tomato over her head and shoulders. After most of the juice had dribbled away from her, she shook herself down violently, spraying bit of tomato everywhere. 'Oh yeah, a 'villianous human' is after us, I nearly forgot about that' she said haughtily. She walked back towards the house, bits of tomato still stuck in her hair and small rivers of juice running down her clothes, but smelling less of skunk.

Matt didn't reply, he just kept his head in his hands miserably. He heard the movements and words of the creatures, but he wasn't really paying attention to them. He sat there for a few minutes, but for what felt like hours, and finally said 'when's that other girl getting back, she seems to be the leader here and I want to tell her to let me go'.

Fear watched from the darkness, watching Monolith communicate with the Earth spirit herself. He did not need to communicate with any higher being, he was darkness and fear itself and answered to no one but himself. As Monolith finished he withdrew slightly, glaring out of the shadows with slightly glowing purple eyes. I need to find a way to infiltrate the house with the creatures, but how could I...ah I know he thought. He had been watching the creatures in the house intently, and had seen the boy they had captured, the one with black hair. Fear began to step out of the shadows, and as he did he changed into the boy at the house, the last thing to change were his eyes which turned to the same greeny-blue colour. He began to walk slowly towards where the cat girl was hiding, but as he did he made blood start to spill from his chest where long claw marks seemed to have gouged him, and his walk became a stumble.

Bic:// Samara breathed silently, drinking in the words of the monster.

" I.... I don't know what that is. I saw it fighting the other time with this shadow thingy, but you know, didn't pay much attention. Maybe he could help us."

She smiled slightly, taking Archie in her hand and beginning to crawl out of the vent. After looking around for any prying eyes, she sighed, and climbed down. The sky was beginning to turn dark blue, and the slight twinkle of stars came out. Nobody was around, the cat girl realized, as she heard nothing more than the chirping of crickets...

Wait...

If she had cat ears, they would've swiveled around at the soft sound of uneven crunching. It was almost like someone was limping. Samara turned around, having no difficulty of seeing in the dusk, and saw a figure in the distance, as she walked out of the alley. It was familiar. She soon saw the face of the kid they had back at the house, and was about to snap at him for escaping. Then she saw his chest.

" What happened!?" Samara nearly shrieked, feeling like she took a kick to the gut as she stared at the boy's wound, fearing the worst. " Where are the others?"

Ooc:// Woot! Inspiration struck!

Fear had noticed the cat girl's rection, the look on her face and the sudden rush of fear that had come over her at the sight of him. He had struck a nerve, a way to infiltrate the creatures. He had had his head bowed to the ground as he stumbled, but he lifted it after Sam spoke. He looked at her, straight in the eye, and to her they would look dead and pained. Words were hard for Fear, he mostly communicated by actions, but the situation required words. 'The dragon...did this' he choked, his voice raspy. His eyes rolled back into his head and he collapsed to the floor, completely motionless, and being an immortal he slowed the body's heartbeat to nothing.

(Heehee, I couldn't blame anyone else for great big claw scratches by the way, so sorry if you feel left out)

Zara glared at Dess, and then at Matt, and finally at Sora. 'Yes, when is she getting back, I thought she was only going out quickly to get food, well this isn't quickly and I'm starving' she snapped at Sora, looking down at her belly which gave a brilliantly timed rumble. 'She has probably abandoned us, can't trust cats' she mumbled afterwards.
'She is probably just getting more food for you you pig' Matt said, but shut his mouth quickly. Why am I defending her, she was hurting me and is keeping me prisoner he thought hurriedly. He glanced nervously at Sora, Sally and Dess, just in case they said anything, but avoided Zara's glare.

Archie looked over the situation. "Samara, not to sound cliche but my spider senses are tingling here." he said. "The hairs all over my body are sensors to detect virbrations, I sense him before we crawled out of the vent and something seems very wrong." he said. "The weight of the viberations slowly changed from being larger to his present size, almost as if he was a creature shapeshifting but he obviously is not." he said. "And you've told me so, even if he was, such a wound wouldn't allow for the change without causing him to yell out in pain." he said. He looked around. "Plus, over there is where the blood starts, as if it suddenly appeared from no where." he said. "And a normal human probably wouldn't have made it this far with such a wound, losing blood that rapidly." he said. "So it is my oppinion we are being tricked." he said, he'd said everything to Samara telepathically, so Fear couldn't hear. "I say we turn the trick on the trickster, pretend to keep falling for it, I'll keep the fear feeling radiating to it so it thinks its still winning." he said, using his telepathy to make it feel like Sam was still afraid, at least to Fear's persective.

OOC: I figured that since Fear had yet to encounter Archie, Archie wouldn't have thought to trick a spider and its been established Archie is quite observent. Also, since Archie has needed to conquer all his instincts just to remain sane, he doesn't give in to fear easilly.

Sally looked around. "Well considering the humans are on high alert, she's probably needing to sneak around." she said. "That and that fear thing is out there." she said. "So its not exactly easy to go buy food."

Samara gave a small nod. Though she wasn't so scared anymore, she was still disgusted by the fact that a corpse was right in front of her. Fake or not. She was tempted to kneel down, and pretend to check his injuries, though that could've given Fear an opening to attack. Instead, Samara only stared wide eyed in pretend shock, thinking about the others and hoping they were safe. Unknowingly, her tail slipped out of her pants.

" Hey you!!"

Her body tensed up, not recognizing the voice. Almost black eyes shrunk to slit pupils, making her look more intimidating unconciously. Slowly, Samara turned around, putting Archie on her shoulder. There, was standing a horrified and angry man, easily taller than her, holding a hunter's gun. (don't know what they're called)

" What did you do to that boy?" The man called out in a raspy voice. She knew what it looked to him. A murder.

' Archie.' She thought. ' Hold on.' In a split second the girl turned around, jumping to the roof of a one floor building. Quickly, she kept jumping from roof to roof, the sound of a bullet richotcheing of some metal.

Archie hung on as well as he could. "This was obviously his intention." he said. "Get us in trouble or cause descent in your group." he said. "We'll need to discover more about this 'Fear' creature." he said. "I suggest sneaking into the old house on the hill, its owned by an archeologist in his thirties, he is currently absent from the premisise on a dig, if we're careful, he'll never know we were there." he said. "And he has many books pretaining to ancient folklure and the like." he said. "I'm trapped in the body of a spider, when it comes to finding entertainment its ether hunt down insects or spy on humans."

Monolith had sensed his enemy, sensed his exposed state, it was too good to pass up. He erupted up from under Fear, clinching him in his grasp as he rose up. "You're slipping Fear." he said. "Exposing yourself for the intent of scaring a living being? Foolish of you." he said. "Or is there more to those creatures than I know?" he asked. "If your so persistent in persueing them, they must threaten you somehow, maybe then they'll be of aid to me." he said, all of this telepathically so the watching human would hear. He turned to the man and swated him away, knocking him out but not killing him, he wanted him to percieve himself as a monster, that was the idea. He then turned to Fear and sent and pulse of light energy through his hand into Fear.

A soldier ran into Zephyr's control room. "Sir, that rock creature just appeared downtown, we don't know much, just that it was seen in that area."

(To counteract that, spiders' eyesight is pretty poor. Not to be mean or cutting in any way, but whenever I try to get at the creatures, either one of your creatures or Monolith come along and stop him)

Fear picked up the louder, bolder thoughts that the spider passed to the cat girl. So he is one of them, things are getting...more interesting he thought. He sensed the fake fear, real fear was something so pure and unmatchable that it was almost impossible to replicate, especially for an untrained spider creature. He nearly smiled when the human came, but Monolith's appearance made every fiber of his being tingle with repulsion. He leapt to his feet and melded away in Monolith's huge shadow, using its darkness to transform (yeah he can only transform in shadows). He crept to one side in his wild cat form, a huge black creature larger than any tiger. He hissed at Monolith's words, just leaping out of the way. I am not slipping, rock beast, mearly preparing them for my plan. I would stay and talk longer, maybe even reveal my plan to you like those stupid criminal 'masterminds' who blabber everything out to the supposed defeated hero, but I have other parts of this to set into play he retorted telepathically. He hated to speak out loud, his voice was permanently like the sound of grinding steel, and telepathically he could make his voice sound however he liked.

Zara growled at Sally, and quickly turned her back on her. She hated smart alecs and Sally did seem to be a bit of a smarty pants. ‘You all seem to be seeing things, you get paranoid about crows and shadows, sure the big rock monster is scary, but a crow?’ she mumbled, rolling her eyes.

Matt watched the argument unfold, wondering why Zara was trying so hard to make an argument. But all the while he kept wondering what was taking Sam so long, if she was gone any longer there could be a fight. ‘Can I come out of the bathroom now?’ he asked, trying to get rid of a bit of tension.

OOC: I'm aware of that but it'd be hard to play him with poor eyesite, we could say he used his sense of smell. I apologize for that but the thing is, they really have no way to fight Fear effectively besides Monolith, so I thought it'd be better if we avoided a direct confrontation between Fear and the creatures for now, sorry...
