"Fine," Suki finally sighed. "I'll try." She swallowed back her nerves before lifting her head and letting out a clear howl that sounded like it came from a true wolf. It was music from the wild, full of painful memories and a longing for happier days that slipped away.

Titan listined and managed to smile. "That's it, just let all that bad energy go, get it all out." he said.

Luke listined intently. "Pretty." he said, not understanding what the howl meant.

Suki finally ended her howl, feeling much better after it. She glanced at Titan, knowing he would never let her forget it. But she wasn't going to admit she was wrong easily.

"Feel better?" asked Titan. "You've got a beutiful howl if I do say so myself. Naturally your a little bit out of tune but that's to be expected after not howling for so long." he said.

"I'll crack that shell you've built around your heart sooner or later." said Titan. "A little crack is better than nothing." he said. "And look." he said, pointing to look, who looked very happy. "You made the pup happy too."

Suki rolled her eyes, "Like that makes up for anything," she grumbled.

"You know, you have another problem besides anger, your too hard on yourself." said Titan. "Your running yourself into the ground for something that isn't your fault." he said. "I know what that's like...I've been there...in all honesty maybe I'm still there a little." he said, looking down. "I know its not easy to pull the pieces of your mind back togather after how bad Mako broke it, I know how hard it is to accept you're not what he wanted you to be." he said. "Honestly, I spent a year in the same shape your in now but the diffrence is, I didn't have someone that knew what I was going through, just remember that you do...me."

"But I did become what Mako wanted me to be," Suki said. "I have taken so many lives in those rings, and I can't ever bring them back. I should have been stonger, should have realized long before now what I was doing was wrong and that I would pay for it later. And now, here I am, running from the only city I have ever known."

"I had the same feeling when I escaped." said Titan. "Mako's drugs always mess with your head, makes it heard to think clearly, it'll take awhile for them to fully leave your system." he said. "Now here's how to help with that, take a deep breath and say outloud that you're sorry for what you've done." he said. "And forgive yourself for it." he said. "Those you killed would forgive you, they knew you were under those drugs." he said. "They're in heaven right now and would want you to forgive yourself." he said. "Trust me, you'll feel better, remember, you're not talking to someone with no idea what they're talking about, you're talking to someone whose been through the exact same thing as you."

Suki shook her head as she looked to the floor. "But I can't say I forgive myself if I don't. I am sorry, and maybe those dogs would forgive me, but that doesn't help me feel any better. I still did those things, I;m still a killer, no matter what anybody says or does. The past can't be undone."

Titan used his paw to redirect her face to look at him in the eyes. "The past can't be undone but the future is in your paws." he said. "ITs like Luke said, you are who you choose to be." he said. He pushed something out of his collar with his paw, it was a vial of somekind of liquid. "This is the antidote to Mako's drugs." he said. "I was saving it incase...I had a relaspe." he said, having trouble with something about that. "But you need it more than I do." he said. He removed a rubber cork from it to show a needle and before Suki could react, injected it into a spot in her throat where Mako tipically injected the drugs. "There, now that will neutrilze the drugs still in your bloodstream, it'll help clear your head and let you think straight." he said. He couldn't help but think how beutiful she was, he had to think she was the most beutiful dog he'd ever think but didn't know why. Am...am I in...love?

Suki made to jump away from Titan when he pulled the vial out, but it was in her skin before she could blink. She fell to the ground from her half-jump, and landed with a small yelp. She closed her eyes from the feeling of the cold liquid moving through her body. She could practically trace it as it slowly made its way to her head. As it moved up her neck, she realized it wasn't cold, but warm. Like ice melting and thawing. She closed her eyes again as it reached her brain and jumbled her thoughts even more. Everything she had done, the blood and the fighting, passed before her vision, and she could almost see herself doing those acts. But it wasn't her, was it? Such bloodlust in those eyes, and violent snarls whipping through her body. Then an image of her before she was taken away flashed in her mind. That poor innocent pup. Suki felt like crying, and screaming, as she watched the tranformation of that pup to a killer. Then everything went black. She understood, that wasn't her. She wanted to be that puppy again, and maybe she could be. For the first time in her life, Suki felt hope.

She had been laying there for a while, when finally she fluttered her eyes open.

Titan looked at her. "Feel better?" he asked, having a feeling she did, he could see the hope in her eyes.

Luke licked his grandmother. "So how did you find us grandma?"

Suki sat up, and looked around her. She had an urge to snap at Titan and tell him how awful it was to see her past again, but she also didn't want to say that at the same time. Weird. She setteled for nodding, eyes full of confusion.

Fiata was taken aback by the pup's sudden comfort to call her that, but she shook it off. ""I've been looking for my daughter a long time, Luke," she said. "It was only a matter of time before I tracked her down."
