Kodi shook his head gently. "No need to. We just need to keep moving from this point on."
Goldie giggled, licking Cachen's muzzle.
Kai nodded. "There's no need to thank anyone."

Dusty nodded. "LEts go." she said, wagging her tail.
"Alright, follow me." said Balto, leading the way to the trail.
"We'll get momma back." said Cachen, following the group. "And teach Mako not to mess with this family."

Kai glanced at Dusty once more, before keeping his eyes ahead, taking in every sound and scent.
Kodi nodded, beginning to walk again.
Goldie nodded, smiling wider than ever. "You're right, no one will mess with your family after this."

Balto walked beside Kodi. "Don't blaim yourself for this." he said. "No one could've known this would happen, it would've happened even if you didn't have that fight."
"That's what we thought last time isn't it?" asked Cachen, chuckling.
Lena smiled at Tai. "Well another adventure."

Kodi blinked lightly, sighing. "I don't blame myself...I just can't imagine what might happen to her."
Goldie giggled. "Yea, but this time you'll prove it."
Tai nodded. "and one you won't get in trouble for."

Balto nodded. "Don't worry, she'll be fine." he said. "We've never failed yet have we?"
Cachen nodded. "I sure hope so."
Lena nodded. "And I can't wait to see Momma again."

Kodi shook his head "No, no we haven't."
OOC: Is there any point you'd like Bashkei to come in? I don't mean right now but, is there any point you'd like him to?
Goldie snuggled into Cachen. "Don't doubt yourself, I believe in you."
Tai nodded. "I can't wait either."

OOC: Soon would be good.
Balto nodded. "We work best when the odds are against us."
"I know." said Cachen. "I believe in you too."
"And to take a bite out of Mako's shin." said Lena.

OOC: Okay
Kodi nodded, looking ahead. "The odd are certainly against us, Dad."
Goldie looked at Cachen lovingly. "Gosh, I'm glad I found you."
Tai couldn't help but laugh at that.

"Good, we work best like that." said Balto. "You know that."
Cachen nodded. "I feel the same way." he said, smiling.
"I wonder what he tastes like?" asked Lena.
Aniu nudged Katie. "Katie, Mako." she said, Mako was coming down the steps.

Kodi chuckled. "I wonder...what would happen if the odds were in our favor?"
Goldie's tail wagged furiously.
Tai tilted her head. "Who?" she asked
Katie woke up slowly, sniffing the air before realizing who it was. She was quickly up on her feet, growling. She bared her teeth, pupils dilated.

"True." said Balto. "Who knows?"
"You're a pretty dog too." said Cachen.
"Who did I just want to take a bite of?" asked Lena.
Mako took out a dog whistle and blew it.

Kodi sighed "With your logic we'd lose." he grinned
Goldie looked away, blushing. "I remember when you first told me that."
Tai made a light gagging noise. "Gross."
Katie looked into space, ears folded back as the shrill noise rang in her ears.

"Maybe, unless we win because we're the good guys." said Balto, smiling.
Lena gave her sister a smirk. "Just kidding, if I bit a piece out of Mako, it would make Cachen throw up."
"Well its true." said Cachen. "You're a very pretty dog."
Aniu clinched her teeth and covered her ears, despite being a spirit, her senses could still be hurt.
Mako, still blowing the dog whistle, sprayed pepper spray in Katie's eyes and nose.

Kodi nodded slowly "That's very true."
Tai nodded. "Besides, I'd bet he would make you sick." she giggled
Goldie glanced up at Cachen. "I still don't believe that. I mean, look at your Grandmother...And your aunts."
Katie cried out as he sprayed her. It was almost like a skunk, it hurt just as bad. Out of tear stained eyes, she looked at Aniu, in pain.
