"We're not entirely sure," Kira said, deciding to take charge of the explaining. "Zane passed out and is having these, like, cold flashes. We don't know whats wrong with him."
Cassie muttered useless coos of encouragement to Zane as she and brought Zane into the house and set him on the nearest couch. Cassie was right there beside him as soon as she let him go.
Dayla followed Cody and Cassie inside with Finn at her side.

Cassie felt completely helpless, only able to squeeze Zane's hand back and brush a piece of hair from his face. She looked up desperately at her alphas. "What's happening? Can't we do anything?!"
Cody put a hand on Cassie's shoulder. "Hold on, Cass," he said comfortingly as she saw her blink back the tears that had formed in her slightly hysterical begging. "He's going to be okay." The confusion in his voice was too evident to give much comforting, though.
Dayla sighed, looking at Dean for some sort of answer. She hated to see the yearlings of her pack in such a state.

Cassie drew in a sharp breath as Dean cut himself off. She seated herself on the floor, leaning against the couch, and gripping Zane's hand tighter even though he was completely unconscience now. But she made her point; she wasn't going anywhere.
Cody nodded at Cassie, understanding her without words being spoken. He got up and went to an old recliner that barely worked anymore. "I'll stay too," he said, settling himself in the old chair.
Finn made his way out of the small group and wondered to his room, where he was sure his brother was. He knocked on the door before walking in. "Hey, Curt," he said in gretting. "Feeling better?"
Luna, who had retreated to her room just a little before the gang came home, peeked her head out of her door as she heard Finn. She walked across the hallway and came up behind him, not saying anything but knowing that both of the brother;s knew she was there.

Finn came and sat on the edge of Curtis's bed. He put his head in his hands and sighed.
"You okay?" Luna asked, coming to sit beside Finn.
Finn groaned. "Zane is, like, dying down there or something. No one really knows whats wrong with him." He said all this reluctantly, hating to be the bearer of bad news.

Finn shrugged. "I guess he's not dying exactly. But he sure is sick. He's passed out in the front room at the moment."
As Cody was watching Cassie watch Zane, he rememebered he was supposed to keep Bree informed. He pulled out his phone and ent her a quick text message. alpha's had nothing to say. he's sleeping now.
Bridget nearly jumped out of her fur when her phone set off a chord of beeps, signalling a new message. She nearly ran to it, read it, and quickly sent back. nothing?! aren't they at all concerned that we have no idea why he's even sick. what if it gets bad? we have nothing to help him.

Bridget gave a frustrated sigh. and if we keep ignoring it like this it can only get worse!

"So it could be really bad or harmless," Luna finished for him.
Finn sighed. "I hope its the second one. I can't imagine this pack without Zane."
Cody wasn't sure what to send back. Bree had a point. just give my parents time to think. to research. they'll find something.
Bridget nearly threw her phone at the wall. So she was just supposed to wait around for new, good or bad? She looked out the window. It wasn't quite late enough to sneak out. fine. just expect to see me tonight. she sent to Cody before getting up, setting her phone on the desk, and walking to Aerion's room. Bridget wasn't sure where else to go. At least Aerion knew that Zane was really sick. She knocked on the door. "Hey, Aer, it's me."
