Zala smiled weakly. " It's ok Kohana it's just me." Zala said as she sat down beside her.

Emuku then came and laid down with his head on Zala's lap.

Mandie looked backa t Rose. "See? That's exactly what I've been saying. I mena, that's why I'm reserving judgement." She shurgged. "Becuase if they're right aobut the High council I don't want to fight for teh wrong things." She saw Dakota glance after his friends and grin kindly at her before sitting beside Rick. She grimaced, not knowing whether to growl at him, shrugg, or smile. Stupid war. Wish my folks had told me about this before, se thought. "Well, I'm sure not goign home tonight. I'm too mad. Is there anywhere I can stay?"

Jason flicked his tail. " If you need a place to stay we have an extra room in our home. Tho you may want to make sure you don't touch Emuku's stick if you stay with me and Zala." Jason said. Emuku's stick was a tree branch of the tree where Zala found him, and he was very protective over it.

Rose watched Kohana run away with a glare but was caught completely off guard with Zala's speech. She opened her mouth to say something, but Zala was gone before Rose could utter a single word. She looked at Mandie and then the small group behind her. So these were all the rebels at her school. She had names, faces, location. So why wasn't she running off to the High Counsel to tell them? Because a part of her thought they could be right. Maybe the High Counsel was fighting for the wrong things. She turned her back on the group and laid down to stare into the trees, her once decided mind was so confused now that she barely had room to think.

By this time, Kitty had pieced together most of the information. One thing still confused her. She walked over to Dakota and said, "Hey, kid." with a smile. "Where's Will and Jade at? Shouldn't they be here too?"

Dakota sighed nad glanced down. "will ditched after we got into a fight. And JAde went after him." He grrinned, knwoing how stubborn Jade was, which made his hopes rise a bit. "And of course we knwo why Jade went after him, huh?" He laughed.

Mandie glanced at Rose. She was confused. It loekd liek she was caught between teh two now as well. Mandie flikced her tail. "You okay?" she asked. She had gotten used to teh confusion for the time being but if she got one more piece of information it'd either rush back or she'd pick a side. She looekd at Jason. "Thanks."

Jason nodded. " Your welcome Mandie." He said as he looked into the wood's where Zala and Emuku had run off to. He new she would come home when she was ready and Jason new that if anything would come up she could take care of herself.

she looked over at zala and emuku. the tears still flowing down her face. then she looked away ashamed of haveing her friend see her cry. "sorry zala that i made you come over here. my emotions take a hold of me. im sorry to you to." she then laied her head in her knees again and started to cry hard. "i just dont get it. why do the high counsel have to treat us like crap we didnt do anything wrong."

Rose didn't bother looking at Mandie. "Do I look fine?" Her tone wasn't as sharp anymore, but it still had a slight edge to it.

Kitty smiled. "Yeah, of course," she said. "I just hope nothing like this happened with them," she said, motioning to Mandie and Rose.

Zala sighed as another tear ran down her face. " I wanted to come over here." she said to her friend. She put her hand on Kohana's shoulder." They treat us like crap because they are idiot's." she said with a small laugh. " Besides they know we are strong and can stop them, so they try to force us away to save their own skin. That and most of them simply don't have hearts.

"ya true. thats the reason why most of us grew up with out parents cause they either joinded them or were killed by them and they dont even care who was left behind." she trund to zala. she rested her head on zalas shoulder. "i just wish it could end."

Mandie nodde din udnerstanding. "I understand," she said.

"Well..." Dakota paused. "Will shaking and then he ahd stopped shaking when I tlaked to him after that but he yelled at me then.... Maybe he changed...."

"well i hope you can." she said looking at zala with a smile. 'i wish that all of them whos parents are in the high counsle that they would welcome there children back into there homes.' she thought as a tear ran down her face. 'but i dought that wish will ever come true.'
