"I have to do nothing, Zero," he hissed, his face suddenly a hostile inch away from the defeated wolfress's face, his powress infused back into his once apologetic gaze. He was back now, ruthless, unsymapthetic, uncariing. Thisrty for revenge. He stared at Zero again, and it was like a light suddenly was shut off inside him."But what will youdo...?" He chuckled darkly, pacing around the fallen female. "Where will you go? I mean..." he lifted his head loftily, gazing down at Zero, his crimson eyes set ablaze in the shadows of his face, "who would want a sad little thing like you?" His eyes narrowed and all humor was lost in his body. "Leave my presence, whelp." He turned his back on Zero, his head lifted with the dignity of a dishonored leader.

Zero gowled, even in her defeated stage she didn't want to give up. Her ears pressed flatter, and flatter against the top of her skull with every toutured word Ringo threw at her. And if he knew her well enough he would be able to tell exactly what she was feeling by the positions of her ears. Complete hatred and loss. But if he looked deeper into her eyes he could probably see the sadness that was pouring over her. She raised the sides of her lips out of the corner of her mouth and whipped her head towards Shy. "Have a nice life with this _______. You two will make a lovely couple." With that she glanced up at Ringo, who was only inches away from her face. She drew back her paw and with all of the force she had left she smacked her unsheated claws across his face. Then she was instantly up, sprinted in the opposite direction. But she was howling a triumphant howl. And little did she know that she was running straight into the Estree territory....

Shy watched in disbelief as Zero raced away. What had just happened? All of this was because of her. She looked at Ringo and the new scratch across his face. She licked the blood off his sore cheek. "This is all my fault isn't it..." She wasn't waiting for a response she knew the answer. She looked in the direction Zero had disapeared. Would she ever see her again. Surley if they did it would not be a happy reunion.

Ringo shook his head, his cheek burning and oozing red liquid. "Not at all, Love." He squinted after Zero, internally sighing at her incompetence..."We should leave..." He snorted and sturned on his heels, his tail making a soft swish--comparable to that of an owl swooping off into the dark forests, a dead, defeated rat clasped in its talons. He pressed his ears flat against his head as a forlorn howl entered through his ears. He intended for it to come out the other, but it kept on bouncing off the inner walls of his head like an echo off a cliff. As hard as he tried to ignore it, to shut it out, Ringo could not help but feel the empty space left now where that hollow howl was now reiterating.

Hey White, just wondering, do you wanna join my fursona designing contest?

With whatever pride the wolfess had left, Zero sprinted out of the forest, ignoring the splintering pain that her foot gave off. She didn't slow down until she came to a clearing, even then she kept running, but paused to make sure that no one would see her. Just now did she realize that not only was she leaving Ringo behind, but she was leaving the whole pack behind aswell. Good riddance... she thought bitterly. They are the ones who will be at loss. Not me. As Zero sprinted out of the forest, and into in an open grassy field, the impact of her departure suddenly his her smack dap in the chest. Literally almost knocking the breath out of her. What if I never see Ringo again? she turned around and almost started running back, but caught herself. But he chose her over me...there's nothing for me to go back for. Once again Zero hardened her heart, hoping it would stay that way this time. But she couldn't help but strangly feel an empty space, what was it? A space where her heart was supposed to be.

ooc//~ Oooh I just re-read your latest post, White, about 5 times in a row and could Ringo possibly be having seconds thought?? *Shifty eyes* thats for him to decide though right? :wink:
