i forgot about this RP, i just read this thing over. Okay, since no one seems to be posting much ill go ahead.

Kalgorn padded threw the snow covered ground of the forest. He'd not seen balto or jenna since they had helped balto get jenna safely back home. At the moment he was searching for food. But that was driven out of his mind by the next scent he caught. It was that of a wolves. One for sure at least. There was the scent of a female dog as well. Sniffing the air again he caught the familiar scent of Balto. Kalgorn supposed balto being there ment the female dog he could smell was Jenna.
But who's the wolf?
Driven by his couriosity Kalgorn turned in their direction, walking towards the scent.

Keso watched as Balto closed his eyes once more and though he was tempted by their sleeping forms to spring out and take advantage of their weakened positions, he stayed hidden still amongst the underbrush. Why he stayed hidden, he didn't know, though he knew it wasn't like him to let such a rich oppurtunity for bloodshed pass him up. But even as she lay with his paws underneath him, his acute nose told him precisely why his instincts had told him to wait.

The scent of the wolf from before who had helped the husky and Balto was slowly but surely nearing them all and Keso cursed silently to himself. It was unlikely he would be seen, but the possibility was strong indeed that once he entered the area, he would awaken Balto and then they all would want to move away, back to the town or off somewhere else, out of reach of Keso for the time being.

He knew he had the choice to fight them all on his own, and he had no doubt in mind that he would at the very least present an ominous force against them, if not win. But he had always hated having to split his attention to more than two opponents at once. The questiong remained of what he should do, and after a moment's deliberation he thought to himself, 'I'll wait for a more opportune moment. But for now, I might as well stick around and see if I can learn any new information from our 'projects'.' His maw creased in a grin and he remained there, still as silent as ever.

Boomer most have fell asleep or something. He woke up & saw none. He howled to the town & to Kalgorn. "Is anyone here?" Boomer asked. He then walked outside of the boiler room seeing that everyone ignored him he walked back towards the wild.

Kalgorn went on threw the trees, swerving threw them. Since the moment didn't seem to dangerous he wasn't in any hurry. The scent of the wolf other than balto had gotten the better of him. who is that? Maybe Nexus? He thought, ducking under a tree branch.

At last balto and jenna came into view. "well there they are" Kalgorn said to himself. He could tell they didn't want to be disturbed. But the other wolf was nowhere in sight.

Keso watched Kalgorn come into view, but remain just out of the area where he was hiding and the dog and mutt were sleeping. His keen ears caught the other wolf's voice, but still he made no move, watching and waiting for what would happen next. If he exposed himself now, he knew he would lose this valuable oppurtunity. 'Come on,' he though to himself, daring Kalgorn in his mind to come forward to Jenna and Balto. 'Just a little more. Give me some insight as to what you plan to do about me and the Hailstorms.'

Kalgorn looked around. Now that he was so close the wolf's scent was much stronger and clearer. This was deffinatly not nexus's scent. Who ever it was, was obviously not keen on the idea of being spotted. It could only mean trouble. Still, kalgorn had to inspect this. If balto and jenna were going to be attacked again, he and boomer wouldn't have been there to save them again. He began walked toward the scent.

Keso's mind reeled as Kalgorn got closer to him, but he remained completely still, scarcely daring to breath even. He knew how to stay undetected, even when his scent had been picked up by the enemy and used this knowledge as best he could in the present situation. A cracking sound on the opposite side of the area from where Keso was hiding indicated that there was someone else in the area watching as well, and even though that someone was down wind, they had made the mistake of making noise. Keso narrowed his eyes to spot the other intruder and saw a faint hint of white. Cale.

Kalgorn stopped in mid step. Thinking he'd made the noise he looked down at his paws. all there was beneath him was snow. Looking back up he tried to find the source of the noise.
Kalgorn felt the need to get out of sight just then. Looking around for some cover he lay low on the ground. Cursing his fur color. He stood out more than anything. Brown on white. Never a good mix. There wasn't much cover close by. All around him there was thin trees. Not at all good cover for a wolf.

Kalgorn decided to compromise and warn Balto and Jenna. They might not have wanted to be disturbed but kalgorn could tell now that they were in danger. He started for them at a slow cautious pace. Trying to reach them, quietly and unnoticed. He stayed low to the ground.

Keso continued to watch Kalgorn, thanking Cale silently from his position for the distraction and wondered just what Balto and the husky femme would do upon waking to see the wolf and hear his urgent warning. The dark wolf tried to play the little scenario out in his mind and the outcome of it brought a short grin to his face. No matter what, he was sure that whatever happened would be interesting to watch.

Kalgorn tried his best to tread quietly towards the wolf dog and female husky but the surroundings were covered in twigs and pinecones. He kept his eyes open for any sign of movement. If he was spotted he had no clue what he'd do. He supposed his only option would be, if he was outnumbered, run. Or he could fight them off and give his two friends a chance at escape. Knowing balto, he would probably try and help though.
Kalgorn didn't even dare to breath much. He sucked in air slowly and quietly and let it out only when he needed more air.

Balto's nose twitched as he caugth scent of someone close by. His eyes opened slowly and he saw what appeared to be a mound of dirt. But suddenly it moved toward him, and he saw two eyes peering at him above the snow.

"Kalgorn? What are you doing here? What's going...?"

Just then, he scented another someone somewhere around the clearing, and though the scent was familiar, he could not put a name on it. He scanned the clearing quickly with the air of calmness, but despite his best efforts he was coming close to panicking...

Keso's breath caught in his throat as Balto finally awoke. But it appeared as though the fae had not and still lay in the makeshift bed of snow next to the mutt. His easr strained forward to hear them and he glanced just once across the way to see Cale hiding and watching uneasily from his position among the snow and bramble. His paws tensed and untensed, claws raking the snow beneath them, in order to release some of his tension and anxiety. He was deeply interested in what they might have to say about him and his pack, though the longer it took them to begin to move and speak, the shorter his patience became.

Kalgorn felt relieved apon seeing Balto awaken. But the danger they were in had him anxious. Even scared. Keeping his voice low, in hopes that they could remain unheard, "Balto, you and Jenna are in danger. I think that pack we fought earlier back, is watching us right now. I havn't been able to pick them out but i know they are close. You can smell them way to clearly for them to not be nearby. Get Jenna up, quietly. We've got to get out of here before they decide to attack"

His voice filled with urgancy and though he tried to keep his voice from shaking, it had expressed the fear he felt. He tried not to panic and remain calm. If they could get out of this clearing where they were sitting ducks, they could run for it. With fair odds that they would escape. While he waited on Balto, he scanned over the landscape. Trying to locate the threats. But having little success.
