Carl is one heck of a driver and I understand his frustrations for what happened earlier, but you know, when you try to wreck someone for a couple of laps, wreck him, and affect the end of the race, NASCAR is not going to be happy about it, whether he flipped or not.

I know NASCAR wants these guys to be more aggressive, but you know, I don't know, its up to them. They can't just let this slide by without penalty however, there is a line that has to be drawn between aggression and pure recklessness.

Bristol is in 2 weeks and that is the perfect place to equal the score, but not in Atlanta. Not at the fastest part of the racetrack. Not with 3 laps to go. Not when you are over 150 laps down.

I think one part of this that won't be touched on a lot is that the wreck caused the caution, which caused everyone to bunch up and open up tire strategies, which led to 6 more torn up racecars before the end of the race. What was Carl's problem became other people's problem.

Just a bad situation all around and I hope Carl learns from this one.

I actually saw that too. Carl really got lucky with a probation. It could've been a fine, but Nascar saw the replay in other ways. Maybe they should take the wings off for the rest of the season because I didn't expect the #12 car would flip like that. Tempers might flare this season.

I hope it doesn't happen again. Maybe they could be paybacks and then it would be a grudge match right on top of it.

Just a heads up that this coming Friday I will be heading out to the Richmond International Raceway for the NASCAR Nationwide Series race.

Hopefully I'll have some pics from it to post after I get back, but I cant guarantee that I will though. we'll see
